Game Thread Spurs (8-2) vs Warriors (6-6) (Wed 11/12/25) [7:00PM CDT]

while Castle's defense tailed off in the second half of last year, one of his best defensive performances near the end was against Curry and the Warriors. hope he brings that intensity next couple of games. as Fox continues to integrate and develop chemistry, he'll take more on-ball reps allowing Castle to conserve more energy for the other end as well

quasi-playoff atmosphere with consecutive games against the warriors. you can expect plenty of adjustments not just at the half but between games, and Kerr is still one of the best coaches in the game.

the friday game matters more for me as i have a particular interest in the spurs advancing in the NBA cup

Warriors gonna come out angry & motivated after that shellacking at the hands of OKC. Jimmy Butler will be in his prime FT merchant mode & keep Wemby in foul trouble.

Dubs takes the W.
That might happen if their locker room wasn’t broken.

It's not D/O Rating axis, it's just on east and west.
Did you miss the top banner label that was highlighted? It says NET RATING. The horizontal axis is labeled O, therefor the vertical must be D, or all of the teams would be in a horizontal line strictly based on Ortg.

The purpose of this diagram IS to show that all of the east teams are mid, or absolutely dogshit.

It literally says on top "Grouped By Conference" :st-lol:

Even a quick look at the standings, you see that four teams in the East have a negative net rating while the West has six which is represented in the chart/figure.

Not rocket science stuff here. Dumb chart.

On the contrary, the West teams have been dog shit. Count below the x axis by conference.

The horizontal axis isn't labeled O as in "Offense" - it's labeled 0 as in zero. This chart is only net rating, and the 0 line is where NetRtg = 0. Above that is positive, below that is negative.

Don't kill the messenger. That is a 0, as in a zero, I believe.
Not saying that I don't think the display is stupid and I thought it was O and D axis at first, but then realized it was just horribly displayed.

Not sure what to make of this Warriors team tbh.
They’re still more than capable of putting a hurting on someone if their shooters get loose.

Will have to watch the replay of this one. Best wishes for those watching it live.

GSG!

Fox will have to match up with Curry tonight, we don't want Devin or Barnes on Butler.

Fox/Curry
Castle/Butler
Vassell/Pozdiemski (assuming Kuminga is out)
Barnes/Green
Wemby/Post(Horford)

City Night debut! Can't wait to see the new court design on TV.

Fuck the warriors - still my most hated team in history - even more than the shaq/kobe lakers...

Id like to see two blowouts in a row tbh

can also have Fox on Podz tbh

You trust Vassell not to get lost chasing Curry around?
Fox on Podz
Castle on Curry
Vassell on Butler

one of the things Castle has actually been worse at this year is not committing defensive fouls. would rather not have him get baited by Butler the way he did Booker if there is another perimeter player we can have him defend instead
