Game Thread Spurs (13-6) vs Grizzlies (9-12) (Tue 12/2/25) [7:00PM CDT]

Spurs won the game, but this was not good. Yes, the Grizzlies were on a hot streak, but mainly against -500 teams. So relying on 30 points by HB is not a good recipe for success.
We really need our main guys back ... otherwise this thing will fall apart.

obviously... if the spurs dont have wembanyama or castle, they do not have the same expectations. being able to grind out wins in the games without them is huge, and we will need extra contributions from unlikely sources. we had a DJG game. nobody came out of that game saying "man this is bad, if we need jones-garcia to play this well, it doesnt bode well"

i thought this was a better win than our earlier win vs memphis, as far as how the team played. we got contributions across the board, including each of the 4 bench guys playing well, between Harper, Bryant, Sochan, and Keldon

i also like that Fox closed the game as opposed to it being solely HB heroics

I guess I am being too harsh. Now we even won that Orlando b2b game and I am complaining about turnovers, Sochan/Kornet butterfingers and Harper playing a bit too selfish despite having 5 assists. I guess I should give it a rest and just enjoy that we are still winning games.
