Game Thread Spurs (16-7) @ Lakers (17-6) (Wed 12/10/25) [9:00PM CDT]

We are at the precipice of an enormous crossroad with this game. The fundamental question is... will we be as effective as a team like the Big 3 years? And will we be, even more so? But until we are, it's going to be hard to verify that I think we'll be more effective...

It's all very allegorical, the sacred and the propane 🙏

Heard pretty much the same from Quasimodo

Look, I know Austin Reaves is the hair apparent, but if we are able to stroke LeBron's ego some more, maybe we can cause some dysentery among the ranks

All I read was "Let's go poke them in the pooper"

And I'm here for it.

Which win seems more improbable, beating (without Wemby) the Nuggets or beating the Lakers?

I sent them all a free copy of Oregon Trail.

Both tough matchups for each other. Spurs three rim pressure oriented guards vs Lakers poor point of attack defense and Lakers wing/forward size vs Spurs lack thereof = a shootout.

Spurs lack of front court size save Kornet probably costs them, especially the Sochan conundrum. Arguably need him more vs Doncic than any other player, but can't get away with stashing a wing on their C's (probably even Hayes, because of their play makers and his vertical spacing).

Only way Spurs lose this is if there is a huge FT disparity in favor of the Lakers

Can't wait for Luke to pick up his 3rd personal foul with about 3 minutes to go in the 1st quarter and then we'll really be screwed
