Well Sochan sniffers on Reddit like to bring up that graphic of him guarding other stars and giving them low shooting percentages. This is a matchup for him to prove himself. If sochan does nothing to contain Luka or lower his shooting today, then it’s time to throw that dated graphic out the window.

re: castle on reaves... i get it, but at the same time Castle was awesome defending Luka last time. think you just trust Fox on Reaves and the plan to neutralize is to attack them on the other end. Make Luka/Reaves defend Castle/Fox/Harper as they attack the rim relentlessly

We've had like a 12 game sample size of Sochan being our best Luka "defender" and the Spurs have won exactly zero games in that stretch w Luka averaging 35+. Somebody tell reddit that we might have to call that one tbh

I wouldn't be surprised if he was DNP-CD , but assuming he plays, I don't get why does he need to do anything on offense other than screen and facilitate, we don't even have shots available for vassell, keldon and champ, the 3 guard roation has a usage rate of 200%. They don't pass the ball much.

This is what I mean by having his best game of the year.

Perhaps I’m being overly optimistic on this front, but I want to see Mitch stand up and advocate for his team with the refs tonight. You know Luka, Reaves, Bron and JJ are going to be foul baiting and lobbying to the refs all night. Luka especially will be doing the kind of shit that would get any other player besides him and Draymond a technical. Why they are allowed to get away with this shit, I do not know… but I wouldn’t mind Mitch even getting an early T to set the tone that the uneven foul baiting should not stand.
