Thanks. I was just curious with how you phrased it as another poster pointed out. I now realized you were framing it as “it’s not as bad to lose to the Lakers”Every Cup game counts for the regular season except for the final, that's the 83rd game for those two teams and it doesn't count.
Other teams that were eliminated already got their full schedule, it's down to just 4 eliminated teams to get theirs.
I'm not sure about it, but I think we'll play the Suns in another regular season game if we don't beat the Lakers.
Yesterday someone said we played the Bulls in one of those replacement games after we got eliminated from the Cup a couple of years ago, so maybe we could play one of those two Eastern teams that get eliminated, not sure.
But if we beat the Lakers, semi-final against OKC will count for the regular season record.
If we lose, I hope it's the Suns because Booker probably won't be back and I think our guys have enough spine not to lose to them for the third time in a bit more than a month.
OTOH, does this mean we get extra games with Lakers and OKC (if we win ofc) and get 2 less against 2 other opponents?
