Nope he averaged 8 FTA per game last season and 8 FTA for his career in Dallas. Playing for the lakers essentially guarantees you more FTA's per game. We've always seen it with their star players over the years. Luka has also turned into one of the biggest foul-baiters in NBA history though. And he cries to the officials basically every play that he doesn't get a call. It's pathetic. Was Luka getting anywhere near that many free throws with Dallas? If not, I'm guessing he's loving playing with the Lakers for that very reason. Looks like his crying and whining are paying off playing with the Lakers.
If the goal is to maximize wins it's still better to beat the Lakers and have only a small chance (20%) of beating the Thunder, 1.2 expected wins, than lose to the Lakers and have maybe a 70% chance to beat a worse team, 0.7 expected wins. Not sure I'll be able to watch this one live, I don't expect much.
As for the regular season standings, we're very unlikely to win both of these upcoming games, losing to the Lakers would mean getting an easier regular season game compared to having to play Cup semi-final in OKC.
That actually tracks with the fact that they only have three losses, but are 14th in net rating. Their expected wins are three less than the wins they have already. Will be tough if Vic can't go tbh. Kornet's defensive limitations were on full display last night. And Lakers will shoot a million FT's like they always do. Luka is currently leading the league at nearly 13 FTA per game (disgusting). Not expecting a W but would love to beat these shit-bags on primetime tbh, even with OKC awaiting the winner for the Finals.
Defeating the Lakers and losing to the OKC will give the Spurs a 1-1 record. Losing to the Lakers and winning an easier regular season game consequently will give the Spurs a 1-1 record. Except it will dent the Lakers' record by a game. So I will root for the former. Besides Luck the Fakers. Not sure I'll be able to watch this one live, I don't expect much.

Darn. Thanks a lot for the stats. That really sucks to see someone that is already a whiner and a foul baiter play for the Lakers and get even more free throws simply by putting on the uniform.Nope he averaged 8 FTA per game last season and 8 FTA for his career in Dallas. Yep. Giving the Lakers a loss is much, much preferable to me. Beating or losing to OKC isn't really going to affect their overall record/season much. And besides, I'd love to get a shot at OKC just to give the young guys some experience playing again them.Defeating the Lakers and losing to the OKC will give the Spurs a 1-1 record. I don't really like Reaves. I don't know, do you guys think he thinks he's better than he is? Just checked, and you're right - 9.6 FTA per game is a bit absurd (almost double what he previously got).As bad as Doncic is as a foul merchant, Reeves is on a whole other level. He is just infuriating to watch. It’s not even basketball anymore.
Lakers glazing by the league.Reaves this season: 9.2 2pt FGA, 9.6 FTA.
NBA isn't an actual sport anymore, but an entertainment business.
Prepare to see a lot of Sochan minutesLA matches up better when it comes to rim protection, kornet can reasonably be expected to limit ayton. Doncic I have no idea how we intend to match up, but we have to limit bitch as much as possible, as if he puts castle on him, we are toast.
Is the Lakers a reg season game? Will the OKC be a reg season game? Not sure I'll be able to watch this one live, I don't expect much.

Every Cup game counts for the regular season except for the final, that's the 83rd game for those two teams and it doesn't count. Is the Lakers a reg season game? Will the OKC be a reg season game?
