First Wemby cheers when Houston gets the #4 pick, now he disses them like this? ROFL

Don’t forget those Jason Terry Mav teams. Nut shot on Fin year in particular.
Yeah the next tier after hate I would call dislike and I’d put the 2006-2007 Mavs and the 2012-2016 Thunder. Only because they were matchups nightmares for the Spurs, but I never really hated Dirk or KD like I did the Lakers and Warriors.

I enjoyed that Warriors 2007 upset over the Mavs a great deal.

im sorry man winning 73 games or whatever they did tells me they were plenty dominant before Durant lol
Not to mention they won a title without him again after he left :st-lol:

Dubs won before KD and after KD left. KD on the other hand has basically been on disappointing teams since leaving them. I think it's clear who needed who tbh

Spurs need to lock in defensive, like 4th quarter vs the bulls

or it might rain threes

So pumped for this game. We're learning how to win close battles and tonight we get to battle against Curry and Butler. LFGSG!

Hope Castle impresses Butler, I'd love for those two to work together...Castle's got all the tools to get to that level, go pick that guys brain (but keep your current attitude please!)

Legit big game today. It should tell us more about how mitch sees the rotations going long term, what he's thoughts are and more.. The warriors are a big enough challenge not to fuck around, but banged up enough that you should be expected to win with a reasonable amount of ease.

Agree with spurraider the Warriors have been dominant pre Durant and obviously during the Durant era. However, they benefited so much from luck and injuries I felt like they were prone to be upset/beaten but the main threats just got injured most years.

2015 their biggest threats were the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Cavs. Spurs lose against their worst matchup in the Clippers then CP3 proceeds to tear his hamstring as soon as he eliminates the Spurs. That Clippers team was damn good and would have given the Warriors a great series. Durant out for season. Cavs losing Irving and Love.

2016 the only challengers were Spurs, Thunder, Cavs. Warriors earned their trip to the Finals but only had to go through one of the Spurs and Thunder and were down 3-1.

2017 there only real threat was the Spurs. We know what happened. All Zaza, Kawhi was in prime Jordan mode and that spurs team was stupid deep with high end role players and a good second star in LMA.

2018. Healthy Spurs and Houston were the only threats. They could and should have lost to the Rockets. Missed 25 straight threes.

2019. Kawhi gets his revenge. Injury karma returns to bite the Warriors.

2022. Kind of a weak year. A non serious Suns team and super young Celtics were main threats. Suns choke against Luka with Brunson and DFS and Reggie fucking Bullock as their third and fourth best players. Celtics were too young and Tatum absolutely shit the bed shooting 35% from the field. Jokic didn’t have Murray or Porter, they could have gave the Warriors problems if healthy, won the title the next year.

Anyway, that’s my Warriors rant. You guys triggered me.

Observation, that I doubt means anything:

In Fox's first game back against NOP, he was announced last in the starting lineup. Tonight he is announced first (Castle announced last). Wemby 3rd both times. I remember while he was playing, DRob was always announced last.

Fuck the warriors - still my most hated team in history - even more than the shaq/kobe lakers...

Id like to see two blowouts in a row tbh
I think for me it's still the 2004 Lakers. I was in my second season FOLLOWING the Spurs , and .04 was BRUTAL. That shot was gut-punching.

Castle on Steph to start

Also Steph on Castle to start, and Steph(on) takes advantage to draw the foul. Savvy.

We're going to feast on the glass tonight

That was a very Rocket-Rod Strickland move from Fox there. Love it.

Barnes on a generational heater right now
