Game Thread Spurs (8-2) vs Warriors (6-6) (Wed 11/12/25) [7:00PM CDT]

As opposed to watching "The Free Throw Merchant" Jimmy Butler III and Donkey sucker assaulting opponents?

Not a fan of SGA FTA tactics but it pales in comparison to those stains as a whole.
Watching Chet on the way to 9-9 was legit.
butler has been historically a very entertaining player to watch, in comparison to SGA.

his Miami playoff runs were incredible.

I’m ready to project the following over the two game series against GSW:

We’ll get a monster game from Fox

We’ll also get a monster game from Castle

We’ll get “normal” games from Wemby as GSW will use the PHX strategy against him, but Wemby’s evolution against this strategy will be what unlocks these monster games from Fox and Castle

We’ll get a nice surprising performance from.. Lindy Waters III against his former team.

Spurs got this. Gettting the W two nights later will be more difficult.

The Warriors struggle a lot with size. French Vanilla line up should feast on them and Keldon can get a ton of offensive boards. I don't see anybody on their roster being able to guard Fox either. Since they are also old and coming off a back to back, there's no reason to lose this first game.

It's kinda hard to win both games in a mini series, but with the second one being a cup game, I actually think our guys will win both.

they aren’t mid 10s warriors head and shoulders above the competition. they had a very favorable run, got taken to 7 by a thin nuggets with a gimpy AG and hali hurt his calf in a series that went to 7 and tore his achilles in the game 7. I doubt they repeat
OKC didn't win bc they're a great team. They're not yet.

They won bc the NBA is between 2 eras and most teams are in rebuilding mode and most top players are on the verge of retiring, the new generation is still young and learning.

This okc team would be destroyed by most former champions in this century. Even Indiana, a decent but not a monster team, took them to 7 games and almost beat them without their best player.

Winning and losing has as much, sometimes more to do with the level of the opposition, matchups, injuries or referring.

Even a not great Denver would've beaten them I believe

Curry and LeBum should just retire with 4 rings. GSW definitely has no chance of winning any more title.

Lakers likely to implode once LeBum returns and take all those mins and possessions from Luka and Reeves.
They can't with this CBA, it pays too much guaranteed money.

They'll stay in the league until they're asked to leave (have no offer)

Warriors gonna come out angry & motivated after that shellacking at the hands of OKC. Jimmy Butler will be in his prime FT merchant mode & keep Wemby in foul trouble.

Dubs takes the W.

Spurs haven't figured out their rotations on the perimeter, which still suck. Bulls got way too many open threes. Either or both of these games could get ugly.

Dray making comments accusing teammates of not giving 100% on every possession (Kuminga?) right before SA faces them twice in a row is some poor timing for the Spurs. Hope GSW doesn't get too fired up from that

Warrior fans are mad about podz being garbage, so maybe him

No excuses, we need to destroy them.
Old, washed team that runs undersized lineups on a b2b.

Dang. It feels like Horford has been playing since I was a toddler. I remember wanting him on our team back when he was a Hawk. At least he is doing good work to collect his check. Too many players don't put forth that kind of effort
