He doesnt need to shoot that many 3s, but he was obviously worn down and fatigued by the 2nd half. This was the 3rd game in 4 days and the first 2 were really physical for him.
The good news even when he's fatigued his defense doesnt disappear. He was still a defensive monster. That alone makes him one of the top players in the league, and with Fox, Harper, and Castle he doesn't need to put up 30+ a game for the team to win. He just needs to be efficient on offense and a monster on defense in situations like this.
Fox was obviously rusty but his offense when Wemby is slowed down is critical. He almost single handedly got that big double digit lead in the 2nd, and he finished the game with clutch plays to seal the win.
This team is better than I thought a month ago.
