Even though I was not happy when watching it go the way it did in the second half, overall, it was a fun game (now knowing the Spurs won it). Winning it makes me feel better about it. Losing it would have really set this place off.

It was stressful as hell at the time, but reading the reactions on reddit and people calling it the game of the season and praising Wemby and Ant gave it some perspective.
Probably would've been more fun for us if we hadn't blown a 25-point lead and lived through another Turd Quarter™.

This is so cool bruhI just finished watching the game/game replay for the first time now. This didn't turn out too well. I am really glad the Spurs won the game as I was beside myself watching in the second half. Not sure how people here reacted live, but I guess I'll find out once I read through the game thread. Darn lucky we won the game. AE went OFF, and Victor also was big for the Spurs.
I did mention it in the last game thread, but probably no one read it as it was a day or so after the game, but would knee pads help from knocks on the side? I know D-Wade used to wear them I think because he spent a bit of time on the ground due to driving to the rim, but I've never worn them before and don't know how they work/where they provide protection (if it's just the front of the knees?). Anyone here worn them before?

Didn't the Mavericks offer Luka for AE? I thought I read a rumor that they made that offer before going with the Lakers.

They really gotta fix this. How are they this stupid that they keep slacking off and let teams back into games. I hope they wake up sooner and not later. Mitch must do jack shit at half time. He's also poor at in-game adjustments.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I watched the game replay. Fucking terribly rigid coaching. Make a freaking adjustment.
It's getting ridiculous. How can you play a basketball game based on preconceived minutes and times that players plays throughout the game. Can you not adjust within the game and play him at different junctures if he's doing well or if the team is not doing well with him off the floor? Is there any wiggle room for any kind of adjustment?
If the Spurs had of lost this game, a good chunk of it would have been on Mitch.

His game would make him one of my favourte players, but like you said, I also don't love the guy on a personal level. Not my type of personality. He's an incredible player, though.
I can't remember what they did. I know it was something silly, but don't remember. Oh, it just popped into my head. It was the skills challenge, wasn't it? lol, that was so stupid.

Yeah, good call. He was the spark that started it. Maybe that doesn't happen if those two play, but can't play the what if game. Spurs played bad and this one felt like a moral loss.
Man, I wish you didn't say this. I wanted the Spurs to win that lottery so bad, and to come so close, it stung a little. I tried to be appreciative and happy to have gotten Dylan, but I thought Cooper would have fit better. Really can't be geedy.
Yeah, it felt really different going through the game thread for the first time after watching the game later and not being able to watch it live. I liked what a lot of people said. Quite a few people posted and got things right that they probably didn't know they had right at the time of posting, and may not have even remembered after the game. It was kind of cool.

He was also doing the emo thing a lot last night. I thought he was past that. I think him being extra flirty with Sean lately has had him lose some focus and fall back into his online teenager shtick.

The hug between Fox and Wemby was nice. Thank goodness we don’t have to wait for Castle and Harper to fully grow up to witness what we’re witnessing right now. Fox is carrying a good load.

It’s his job to get excited about the bad guys doing amazing things too, but you have to thread the needle and it take skill. He seems sort of incompetent in his craft still, so we get pouting.

Can't say enough good things about Ant. I know he's a bit of a knucklehead but I love his confidence and swagger which he backs up with his level of play. Probably would not be posting this mood if we lost but I can appreciate a heater even if it is an opponent. Ant was incredible last night hitting some insane shots and it truly felt like they were all falling at one point. Donte with some automatic threes too and man my heart was pounding! Good thing Wemby/Fox/KJ were responding back. What a game and yeah we tossed a 25 point lead which is terrible but that little shoot out at the end was so thrilling and the Spurs need to see games like this to learn what it takes.

Does anyone remember a couple years ago that moron Reggie miller on broadcast was arguing how intentionally missing a free throw when your up 3 with a second to go was the right move.. and he got flamed on twitter and rightly so.. I didn’t think I’d ever see someone actually do it in a game lol.
