Game Thread Spurs (27-13) vs Bucks (17-23) (Thu 1/15/26) [7:00PM CST]

They would fucking do it too. But the long game is better. You would get one title and if you are very lucky two. If you are a franchise that's never want anything maybe that's something you want to do but the Spurs have had a lot of success. Playing the long game again is the better option
I don't know that you get one title out of it. I don't see Giannis fitting at all with his need to have the ball and inability to shoot. He'd just be taking touches from Victor which would be detrimental to the whole plan of building him up to be better Giannis plus a three point shot. I love Giannis, he's one of my favorite players all time, but he'd be an awful fit here and Victor plus Giannis would be a duo less than the sum of its parts. Only way I'm ever trading Castle or Harper is to get a flamethrowing 3&D PF, as that's the only kind of player who could be more valuable than Steph or Dylan on this roster.

Wemby bald look is a keeper.

Even if the Bucks are a shell of what they should be, this is just what the doctor ordered for slumpers. Great win to build back some confidence

Was hoping to see okonomiyaki on the menu but no damn Japanese place in San Antonio makes it. Fuuuuuck, it's popular as hell in Japan. Swear if I want Japanese food that isn't katsudon, ramen, or sushi I gotta cook it myself.

I haven’t had their stuff since like 2021 when they were still a food truck, but back then at least it wasn’t really Japanese food in the traditional sense - their main thing was this Chicken Katsu sandwich that was massive. My buddy I believe is half Japanese. Anyway, their stuff is good. I think they have a physical location now. Glad they got some publicity and cool that Sean was already familiar with them.
