It’s not to blame him obviously but I think it’s more the allocation of his minutes and the coaching staff doing a horrible job figuring out when he needs to come back in. They really have done a poor job in that aspect.
We thought that at least passing and getting the ball to Wemby won't be an issue with all the playmaking we should have, but it's been pretty bad as of late.
In Boston there were two fast breaks with him running the open lane and being ignored while transition 3s are chucked.
Last night Keldon had him wide open in the paint, but decided to pass it to Waters in the corner. Luckily, Waters had the right read and made the shovel pass.
It's been really, really bad in that regard.
Post entry passing is also awful.
And then when Wemby isn't on the floor they attempt all those idiotic bounce passes into the middle of the paint, infuriating.
Does anyone on the coaching staff hold them accountable? I'm sick of "let them play through it" shit, that's how you develop losing plyers.
You don't tell a fundamentally flawed player to do everything at once and expand every aspect of their game right away.
Start with the basics and go from there.
