The Big Elote is so good. So crunchy and delicous.

Game ball Castle, what a stud. 30/10/6. Controlled the pace & eyeballs on offense. Made it difficult for Luka and Reeves on D. You can't ask for a better game from him, on the road, against the darling Lakers and their zebra friends.

7 guys in double figures!

Fox and Harper leading the charge when Castle not alpha-ing. We have a 3-headed monster.

Our Big 4 role players - HB, DV, JC, KJ - all found ways to contribute. For us to win any game, we need 2 out of these 4 guys to step up. When they all do, it's a blowout. Really enjoyed watching Champagnie find ways to score inside the 3 point line. He is standing on the shoulders of Danny Green giants.

Kornet really played great. 7/8 on free throws, protected the paint. Really smart plays. Good rebounding. When Wemby comes back, this dude will be our backup C

KJ go get you that llama!

To me it looks like Reaves plays better without Doncic. Obviously, Doncic is the guy, but Reaves has a hard time paired with him because of his limited athletic ability. There are better situations around the league for Reaves and LA is probably better replacing him with an athlete who can defend...
Gotta really hope Reaves can keep these flukey statlines up. The Lakers resigning him for 40+ million per year will hinder them from being a good team for years to come.

Because of Cup weirdness, we will play them 5 times, overall.

yes....good that it will be a good measuring stick and also help Mitch and coaching staff to make better and relevant adjustments after the 5 games....

but bad part is that it will likely add to our loss records in the tight western conference race

Did anyone rewatch the play where Keldon hurt his hand? LeBron intentionally grabbed his wrist and made a move around i believe Kornet while still holding Keldons hand. Seems pretty dirty to me..

Cant believe how many times LA cried about fouls and didn't get back on D. Mitch had the right idea with pushing the ball and maintaining that through the end of game. Castle played with incredible confidence. Dude looked scary last night

I won't say his stats are empty, they just don't tell the whole story. I realize this is the day and age where the best offensive players are no longer the best defensive players (with a few exceptions), but Reaves is such a target on defense that his overall impact will be much worse than his stat lines indicate. On a team with different defensive personnel perhaps that can be accounted for.

I gotta wonder if their new ownership is fully aware and maybe they are showcasing Reaves. He is the prototype example of "be the team that discovers the undrafted star, just don't be the team that pays him".

Thought he hurt his hand on the three ball when Luka caught his extended fingers with an open handed slap. Looked like a t-bone. KJ missed all three of the FT attempts and was really wringing and shaking his right hand afterwards.

It was luka slapping (high-fivin foul) keldons shooting hand as the ball was released- luka punched/slapped hard and keldon was grabbing his hand and appeared to be in pain…

I specifically watched and rewound a play where keldon and LeBron tied up and wrenched on his arm/hand- keldon immediately grabbed his elbow but seemed to be fine after a bit
It was actually right after Luka got hit in the eye on that "non call" in the first half. I should have recorded on my phone. I didn't get to watch the second half so I didn't realize he hurt his hand on a different occasion

100% on that. Keldon missed all three free throws and I remember giving him a pass for it because his shooting hand/fingers were probably max-throbbing at the time.

I actually thought it was crybaby hitting his hand on the 3 pointer attempt for a foul. He was holding it immediately. Keldon missed all three FTs, probably because his hand was hurt.

My go-to for youtube Spurs game reaction/reviews is Laker fan Lil Red (@ztay). It's consistently well done; lots of unvarnished opinions about his Lakers today.
