Game Thread Spurs (16-7) @ Lakers (17-6) (Wed 12/10/25) [9:00PM CDT]

For what it’s worth, I thought he played excellent defense. Shots won’t always fall and there’s a lot of scorers on the team. He still showed up in other ways

I need Vassell being like Bruce Bowen when he cant hit the broad side of the barn though. No doubt the foul trouble played a small role in him getting extended minutes tonight as well.

The short of it is Vassell looked like the next odd man out after Sochan tonight. He’s got to get off that roller coaster if he’s going to keep earning minutes post Wemby return.

Oh, Skip

Somebody get this man a pension already.

Exactly. I’m fine with Devin’s performance tonight. He played good D. We just need two of Champ/Barnes/Vassell to be hitting shots on any given night. Tonight Devin was the odd many out. He’ll get his down the road.

Somebody tell Sneezey that Chet had a good game tonight, guarantee he's playing on Saturday tbh
I’m pretty conflicted about this. It feels like a setup to expect Wemby to perform well after such a long break and without a warm-up game. It’s highly probable the Wemby doubters and commentators will come out of the woodwork if he plays poorly and the Spurs lose badly.

It is what it is, as they say.

Did this game count for W-L? NBA/Yahoo say Spurs are 17-7, ESPN says they are still 16-7 after this game.

This is probably the most satisfying game, eliminating the Lakers at Los Angeles while showing how fast and destructive the 3-guard offense
