Misc MISC Spurs 2025-26 Season Thread

Warriors still have some bite to them. Some. And this Clippers game feels like they're fighting for their season.

Doncic ruled out for rest of game with a leg contusion

Reaves was already inactive today. So gonna take a throwback LeBron effort to win this one

Clippers shouldn't be as bad as they are overall.

But Christ is their offense terrible. Forgot how miserable it is watching Harden pound the shit out of the ball then jack up contested double teams.

Those are NBA games. Right there for the taking, friends with Victors. Spurs should have talked to him and tried to get him to consider being drafted by them. If he said no, he says no, but I really wonder if the Spurs reached out to him before the draft.

Lmao that last possessions by Suns. We are now 6 losses ahead of being stuck in the play-in
Building a buffer of games on play-in zone in case Wemby suffers another month-long injury is crucial.. I know our hopes have grown after this stellar start (we're talking a Top 4 seed and winning a series now), but the pre-season organizational expectations remain making the playoffs with a direct ticket (even Victor said 'Top 6' was the goal).

It's fine to get greedy. Spurs should push hard for that second seed. We have young legs & the entire roster is starving. i still think Denver gets it, though, because Jokic never misses games.

Dude literally did not want to go to the Spurs, didn't he.
Is that right? Also was he even a available at our SRP?

But yeah, I take the point, the next inefficiency for the Spurs to explore in their operation is nailing these SRPs

No young player wants to be drafted as a third string prospect. There’s very little development path there. If he were on the Spurs he wouldn’t be putting up numbers like that in SA.

Gotta cherish the fact that we are 2nd in the West on December 21. It's been a long time since this has happened. Closing out the year strongly would be exceptional. Would love to see us beat OKC twice this week, but, I can settle for one win. Seeing our offense begin to flow is mind-blowing. The defense is coming along and what the staff wants to build our identity upon. Rebounding, size and shooting help would be most welcome in trades or the waiver wire. In the meantime, Sochan is this season's casualty of growth and success. It's impossible not to have that happen. Kudos to KJ and Vassell for not allowing themselves to fall into that abyss.
