NBA 2025-26 NBA Thread

[Charania] Lakers' Luka Doncic is out for at least one week with a left finger sprain and lower left leg contusion.
Probably won't be at 100% by the time we play them on the 6th.

Derrick White quietly being exposed for what he is now that he’s being asked to be a second option.

He’s a solid third option and a great fourth option. Some of the talk around him the last 2 years is that he could be an All Star or even All NBA if given a bigger role. Obviously not the case once defenses start zeroing in on him without Tatum around.

Elite role player though.

White is great at his archetype. Top tier plug and play mini-wing. Is he really getting exposed? I haven’t been watching. But we know his D is great and his shooting is great. Him not being much of a playmaker was known wasn’t it?

still amazing to me that Reaves didnt get any offer sheets as a RFA a few years ago

now he's gonna get PAID this summer after declining his player option

Lamello is kind of a genius on the court tbh. He just doesn’t have any discipline. Discipline can be taught.

Exposed is a stretch. I like to embellish now and then

Interesting to see how much Cam Johnson has struggled integrating with the Nuggets. Still early of course, but I thought it would be more seamless.

Because zollins is injured according to @poopbox
He should go down as one of the most important players in spurs history tbh.

His injury was the catalyst that forced the team to move Victor to Center full time.

If Zollins never get's hurt we might still be trotting him out there as the starting 5 and Sochan at point guard

All heroes don't wear capes

he didnt get hurt. they just benched him because the 2 big lineup wasnt working. wemby's first game as center was against the bulls, and zollins still played 23 minutes off the bench (https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202312080SAS.html)

immediately preceding game against wolves where collins was still starting (https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202312060MIN.html)

the real hero was branham getting hurt. when they stopped the point sochan thing, they tried point branham until he got hurt and pop finally relented and started Tre

Ha. I could have sworn the series of events was Bassey tore his acl which forced Collins to go to the bench. Then Collins got hurt and that mean that Victor had to play the 5 and Sochan had to go back to the 4 because the only other big we had was Barlow and he was playing backup Center after Bassey and Collins got hurt. I know Barlow played some around that time cause I remember being upset he wasn't doing anything on the court but making light skin faces.

I'm just a Boxscore Betty as i was watching the new Mayor of Kingstown.
After a tie game at halftime vs Golden Flamers.....
Clippers offense 3rd and 4th qtr:
15 and 14 points.

Are Kawitter and Beard finally just officially giving up?
