NBA 2025-26 NBA Thread

I think we should judge every young player's career by his first game in the rotation. Definitely crow about how right our predictions were when confirmed by a single game against the defending NBA champs.
he did get cooked. that's a fact. he will get cooked on defense consistently. that's a pretty likely forecast.

Conley is old and has been steadily declining, but just another sign minnesota may be primed to take a step back this year after losing NAW in free agency as well. they are optimistic terrance shannon can step into a bigger role, but he's more of a pure scorer and not as good a defender as NAW. dillingham may play more as well, but conley had been a mistake free player and capable defender.

dillingham is going to create the same problem that sheppard will with houston. how to you manage the need to get a scorer on the court but make up for that guard'd defensive weaknesses? there are going to be some gargantuan lineups in the west.

I like the return of the LOB trophy icon on center court of the finals. Need something to set those games apart from everything else. Makes it special

Well your sample size can't be beat. What a loss for NBA teams that they are missing out on you as a scout.

This year there's a big opportunity ahead for Barlow in Philly given their roster construction and health issues, hope he capitalizes on it.

TOR pushing ATL's shit in. Cam Boozer here we come!

Nah man this the Dybantsa train
You know what will really happen is we'll luck into the #1 pick and Peterson will separate himself as the clearcut #1 and we'll "have" to take him... because point guards.

I like the way you think man

Pretty curious to see which teams take a step back after some success last year. I could see Detroit struggle a bit and I'm not sure about Atlanta.

I thought Dillingham was the better prospect out of college and still think he may have an easier time on defense. Sheppard's hands are incredible - he'll get steals and blocks out of nothing - but he can't keep up with players at all. Dillingham is a moron on defense, but if he fixes his understanding of that end, he at least has the quickness to stay with players, even if he'll never be good.

The two game results that really pop out at me other than the Spurs game is that Utah totally dominated the Clippers at home and that the Raptors ran away from the Hawks in Atlanta. Too early for alarm bells but those aren't good.

Dom Barlow started next to Embid and went 34 minutes with 13 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast, and a block for Philadelphia in their 117-116 win over Boston.

Utah Jazz going for the it's a wonderful life duo tbh

Isn’t it good for our 2026 swap??

Sucks that the scandal will be what dominates the headlines today.
