Game Thread Spurs (28-13) vs Timberwolves (27-14) (Sat 1/17/26) [7:00 PM CDT]

It took losing in the Finals for Derrick White to commit hard to working on his 3

Not the finals but same as Tony for well...He started working on his mid range after that backdoor swept by the 2004 LAL team.

Players feel the most pain from bouncing out of playoffs. At least for the 'real' ballers

Here we go again. Blowing out these punks at the same point of the game for the 3rd game. Here’s hoping we can actually hold the damn lead this time!!

We’ve given up 3 frustrating OREB tonight (and another as I type this), but we are winning the rebounding so far 22-16
I've been very impressed with both Castle and Harper's rebounding this season, among everyone else. Having plus-sized player makes a very noticeable difference, it's a great bonus to have!

Castle saw that defensive breakdown waaaaay before the Wolves did. He was looking them off to wait for Luke to get under the basket.

Champ rebounds like a grown man, perfect form in securing boards along with some decent hops.

Ant is gonna Ant… that was some good D by Fox. I like the way our D is playing overall. We are rotating well after doubling Randle

Interesting. Don’t see many “Fox only”minutes (usually one of Steph/Harp out there too).

I've been thinking about it the last time we played them, but Edwards is better than Luka right now and it's not even up for debate.
Ant is the leader in the clubhouse for Clutch Player of the Year and he’s not a turnstile on D… his temper might be his biggest weakness at this point
