Game Thread Spurs (27-12) @ Thunder (33-7) (Tue 1/13/26) [7:00PM CST]

Just realized that both our former SAC players are hot ass at the same exact time. There must be some anti SAC frequency going on rn

Not a surprising outcome considering this was basically the Thunder's Super Bowl since their championship.

Same issues that have been plaguing us for weeks.... Need another shooter badly even when Devin is healthy.

Good game from Steph, hopefully that snaps him out of his slump.

Onto the next one tbh

Knowing someone is the main way to get ahead now, if it ever wasn't the main way. This is normal.

Tons of truth to this. Seen hacks get jobs because they knew people, and seen talent get passed up because they didn't. It doesn't ALWAYS happen like this, but it does happen, a decent amount for sure.

Its a long season and the team has done a fantastic job of putting the league on notice and also beating the world champs THREE OUT OF FOUR TIMES!

I like where we are and i like the team as it is structured right now. I do feel the rotation should still be expanded to keep everyone fresher but the trajectory is correct and the growth is on track.

Everyone talks shit about every spur and nobody here respects any spur unless they make every shot and win every fuckin game and make zero mistakes…but hey…fans are fans and can spout nonsense 24/7…

Fox was a stud in that xmas game and the biggest reason the spurs beat okc in that game but tonite everyone is slamming him and is talking of getting rid of him soon.
Barnes has been up and down as has every other spur but before that sochan was the most hated and derided spur…now its barnes…

Vassell was hated until he got injured and now everyone wants him back lol

Just appreciate the team and let the chips fall…it is not even all star break time yet…long ways to go…this is all a process and this is one fun ride.

Fox has been a problem most of this season to be fair. You’re posting exceptions to the rule (for this year at least).

Speaking only for myself castle and Harper get grace because they’re so young and have potential. Fox is supposed to be instant offense, decent defense, leader. Instead we have a lackadaisical thief just punching in and out

Huge disagree on your Fox statement. He’s only been a problem post Christmas. His current play is frustrating and isn’t exactly making us all feel confident in him right now though.

SGA seems to disagree tbh. (he's lying)

Fox has been solid. Not perfect. Not doing things YOU want him to do, not satisfying YOUR Idea of his role…but he has been solid and come playoff time he is one of the best pg’s to have on your team in the nba.

Castle and harper have been fantastic and NORMAL…going thru the peaks and valleys of a grueling 82 game season…

Instead of picking favorites and pitting players against each other and throwing out trade ideas everytime some scrub on a shitty team has a decent night and posting that the spurs should get rid of this guy for that scrub everytime someone has a bad stretch…

I am instead loving the embarrassment of riches the spurs have

Ill take fox AND Castle AND Harper - for the NEXT FEW SEASONS!

The best player on the planet PLUS THOSE THREE GUARDS- IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

To me, anyway.

The highest paid player on the team has to do more. a max contract guy shouldn’t be passive if the role he’s paid for calls for more initiative

This is how i see this outcome tonite;

Spurs/okc were in a playoff series and spurs were up 3-0 expecting to close out okc and sweep them…

Refs showed up as they did against timmy and manu aand tony many times and the opponent was given one game and the spurs had to return to s.a. to close out the series….which

On feb 4- the spurs will win and win the season series 4-1

Just like a real playoff series…

Tonite was just okc celebrating that “we have pride and didnt get swept!”
