Game Thread Spurs (26-11) @ Celtics (23-13) (Sat 1/10/26) [7PM CST]

think it may be a good time to bump this.. not a big in your face moment, but just something to reconsider, about the Castle can guard the opposing best players mantra. He has matchups he is good at, and other that he isn't, I don't think that is that strange.
No, it's not a good time to bump it because your take is just retarded. Who exactly would you have put on Brown?

You've been at this since Castle's first game in the league, constantly harping on how he's a shit defender, which is a retarded take noone should even engage.

seriosuly though, will Barnes ever show up again?

This season I guess we should just expect the worst that he won't show up again.

The main point is that Spurs should just let him walk after his contract end after this season. Just like CP3

This was a great win.

It also continues to highlight and make OBVIOUS the problems with this team, which I feel like Mitch is slowly starting to realise after seeing some of the substitutions and lineups he put out there.

BIG step in the right direction.

Castle might need to take some games off. He’s been the opposing team’s best player for a quite a few games now. I’m glad Mitch finally had the sense to bench him down the stretch

Not sure if he is hurt and not telling the medical team for fear of missing games

Ainge ain’t dumb. He “rested” Markannen this game knowing full well it’s crucial the Hornets jump ahead of the Jazz. The same way he rested Markannen against the Clippers a week ago to jump ahead of the Jazz

Jazz need to get to 6th worst record to really secure that top 8 protected pick.
