Blazers are also on a b2b, won in NOLA.
Heavy minutes for Avdija, played 38. In our last matchup he ran out of steam in the 4th, let's hope the same happens again.

If Wemby is out, we're going to have a lot of trouble rebounding because Clingan is even bigger than Kornet and more importantly Williams is back and he's way more athletic than Olynyk and Biyombo.
Luckily for us, they're a really bad 3pt shooting team, so we'll able to focus on cleaning the glass more.

Gonna miss most of this one due to the Niner game, but Castle's ability to defend Avdija prolly proves the difference.

Tried making the gamethread just now but I guess I lack the creds for that. Ha!

¡Vamos, Spurs!

What is it about this year that all the crappy teams are traps? Solid roster and the potential to really ruin stuff for any good team

O/U 10 FTA's for Deni "the IDF flopper" Avdija in this one..? He's currently 2nd in the NBA in FTA per game at 10.

Clingan had his way with Kornet the last game. He reminds me of Zubac. Castle and our guards need to attack and get him in foul trouble.

Spurs by 12 pts. GSG!

I also thought that during the game, but box score says otherwise.

9/11/1 with 1 block and 6 offensive rebounds for Clingan, 3-8 FG.
6/9/2 with 3 blocks and 4 offensive rebounds for Kornet, 3-8 FG.

If Kornet can cancel him out again, it would be great.
As I wrote in the opening post, I'm more worried about Williams since he's too mobile for both Olynyk and Biyombo.

I suspect he'll be back next game. He felt good enough to go back in that one game because he was still warmed and loosened up.

With two days of rest before the Memphis game, kinda make sense for him to sit to let whatever mild swelling/soreness on the knee subside.

Hopefully the guys pull this one out with Portland coming on B2B too..

7 players out for the Blazers including Grant and Williams. We got this!

Last night they started Sharpe/Murray/Avdija/Camara/Clingan with Caleb Love, Sidy, Williams, Rupert and Hansen off the bench.
Williams won't play, I guess Reath will get his minutes.
That's a really bad bench we need to run off the floor.
Caleb Love was 6-11 from 3pt, though.

With how weird the January schedule is with multiple b2bs, it'll be interesting to see how they navigate Vic's availability tbh. Hopefully he's back next game.

I don't think Vic will play against MEM either... I have a hunch they are going to target the LAL game for possible return.
