Yeah, I really don't like those types of jinxes tbh lol
I'm still mad at my friend Nicky. In 2013, when we were up 5 in the finals the bitch fucking said the game's over let's go out already. I fucking looked at her with disgust. I still blame her for that shit. Whenever we watch sports together I call her the fucking jinx.
I take it she's not into basketball, otherwise, there'd be no chance she'd be asking to leave up 5 and with a potential celebration coming up (I assume this was game 6?). Can't really blame her for the loss. I hope you're not too hard on her about it. I think it's more on Pop and his stupid lineup to start the 4th quarter. Still trying to rest players in game 6 of the NBA finals. A lineup I wouldn't even play in the regular season if I were a coach.
It was such an obvious bait I never thought you'd fell for it
Still I'm uber happy with CB and you guys need to stop being so greedy and enjoy your privileges.
You're right, but it's just the point that Exstatic brought up. I'm really starting to get worried about that Clippers pick and OKC getting another amazing player. If they get another great pick, then that is more trade assets for them to load up on future draft picks. If they don't win the Championship and get a top 5 pick, they can retool right away. They're already hard enough to beat, don't need them getting more lottery picks, especially it a great draft like this one. I really hate the Clippers a lot more than the Hawks, but it does suck that the Spurs were likely the next team up to get NO's offer if ATL didn't accept it.
In a vacuum, I like what we have, but OKC is still loading top picks and talent, and they are the team we must get past. The sting of them getting the Clips high pick would be offset if we had gotten the Pels pick.
Yeah, this is the reason. 100%. I really hope that Clippers picks ends up outside of the top 5.
Emo Sochan going through it knowing his days here are numbered.
Man, I had high, high hopes for Jeremy. I really wanted him to play well last game, but right now it's confidence that playing just as big of a part as his skills and BBIQ. I don't think it's so much his skillset, just that his confidence is really shot and he needs that to at least be a serviceable player. Maybe he's also having a lot of trouble picking up the coaching staff's defense and plays and just can't do it in the game, so that's probably making it doubly hard for him. Come on Jeremy, just find your confidence and do whatever you can out there. Don't worry about making mistakes, let the chips fall where they fall. If you make a mistake, just keep playing. It's the only chance you got to get yourself out of this (even if you're traded), you can't play with zero confidence and still expect to be in the NBA. Gotta take a page out of Steph's book and shoot the ball regardless when you got open looks. Change shooting coach if you've had the same one for a while now.
