Saw an interesting comment elsewhere about a 2019 redraft... looking at it, here is how it would go for me, along with actual draft position
- Darius Garland (5)
- Zion Williamson (1)
- Tyler Herro (13)
- Cam Johnson (11)
- Keldon Johnson (29)
- Nickeil Alexander Walker (17)
- PJ Washington (12)
- Daniel Gafford (38)
- Coby White (7)
- Ja Morant (2)
- Nic Claxton (31)
- RJ Barrett (3)
- Rui Hachimura (9)
- DeAndre Hunter (4)
This is an interesting one, because health, off-the-court issues, and general bone headedness play heavily into this. I still have Zion #2 because despite the availability issues he's still by far the most impactful player when healthy. Cam over Keldon was very tough... honestly I think I'd take Keldon but maybe that's just some homer talk... and now that I'm thinking about I think I'd rather have Keldon than Herro too.
I'm extremely low on Ja, but he still probably the second most talented player in this draft he's just a complete fucking moron... I think I still take him at 9.
Just missing the cut for me are Jordan Poole (idiot), Grant Williams (health), Brandon Clarke (who actually has the second highest WS/48 from this class)
The Lakers, interestingly enough, at one point last season, had the #8, 9 and 10 pick in this draft.
