Game Thread Spurs vs Pacers (Fri 10/17/25) [7:00PM CDT]

Damn, unlucky because he looked like he could get some minutes as a bench shooter.
I guess this is the opportunity DJG needs to take advantage of.

Lindy barely looked like a basketball player at all at the beginning of preseason. He's always a nice shooter, but his game has come around.

I just realized we got three dudes named Kelly, Lindy and Riley.

it took forever for this game day to finally arrive. Geez louise.

Jordan McLaughlin is crying in the corner because she didn't make the cut.
Jordan will be fine, she still has the Team and Individual Gymnastics finals she needs to concentrate on

And still the TV schedule hasn't been released for the season. Is this normal? I don't recall it being so late and I watch all the games for 20+ years.

I thought someone posted it. paging scott.

if having 3 days off between Tuesday and Thursday felt rough, enjoy waiting 4 days between Saturday and Tuesday before our regular season opener

I thought the Spurs season opener is Wednesday? What's the Saturday thing? Are you referring to today's game (Friday)? You've got me all confused on when the Spurs are playing. I'll have to go look at the schedule.

I'll be cross posting this to a few threads, but the new Game Grades form includes a place to add comments. Please test this out with tonight's game, as tomorrow I will post a Game Grades "article" (it will just be a post) with a format I'm exploring!

Been waiting for this game all fucking day. lol GO SPURS GO!

Haven't been this pumped for a season in fucking years.

Hope to see Barnes looking a little sharper tonight as well as continued use of the Wemby/Kornet pairing. Curious if Carter can get more run with players from the first and second unit tonight too

Maximum spacing lineup, for about a year I've been saying is that all we need is spacing and paint penetration, we'll see how it goes in the regular season, it's been good so far.
