Unfortunately those don't grow on trees and usually command things we're not willing to give up. I'd be willing to settle for decent defense and 36/37% baseline 3P%.

Thats the ideal. So they should seek the closest thing possible that could fit. Mainly, don't make a trade for something else we don't need just to get jumpy and make a change. The team is developing, the coach is hopefully developing, and no need to rush

He's not exceptional in any area and can't shoot.

Too late for that, I kept suggesting we trade for him last summer while he was cheap.
A perfect 3&rebound PF for us, but we're not giving up multiple FRPs for him since we couldn't extend him in 2027.

I saw this on draft day. Little upside

Really wanted a trade for Sharpe and if that couldn't happen then just draft Jalen Duren. Huge miss all around by the Spurs in that draft.
