Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

financially makes sense, im not sure the fit is quite there. he's a fairly iso heavy face up scorer. not that he isnt skilled in other ways, and he's become a competent defender, but i dont thin thats whats worth spilling our assets for
Pretty much the exact type of front court player we need on this team. We have exactly one. Our front court scoring pretty much becomes non existent when he goes to the bench out side of luke lobs and putbacks.

Unfortunately those don't grow on trees and usually command things we're not willing to give up. I'd be willing to settle for decent defense and 36/37% baseline 3P%.
Thats the ideal. So they should seek the closest thing possible that could fit. Mainly, don't make a trade for something else we don't need just to get jumpy and make a change. The team is developing, the coach is hopefully developing, and no need to rush

Its a shame that Duncan Robinson will never be a Spur. Spurs need him for various reasons

From "we should lock him up for 4/100" to "can't even move him as an expiring" is quite the roller coaster

Wow. That sucks. I thought someone would want him.
I'm not overly surprised. Also the expiring contract and Spurs not willing to take on salary adds to it.
He's not exceptional in any area and can't shoot.

Now they thought about MPJ?
Too late for that, I kept suggesting we trade for him last summer while he was cheap.
A perfect 3&rebound PF for us, but we're not giving up multiple FRPs for him since we couldn't extend him in 2027.

Too bad the Spurs are saving their cash for the arena 🤣
SCENE: ONE SPURS WAY, BRIAN WRIGHT'S PHONE RINGS AND IT'S DANNY AING

Ainge: Hey Brian, we got this Landale guy... I know he used to be with you guys, want to just flip him some cash for him?

Wright: Can't... saving the cash for the arena...

Ainge: How about one of your second round picks instead?

Wright: Can't... need to sell those for cash.

Ainge: So... no?

Wright: Would you send us a swap if we took him?

AINGE HANGS UP

It's looking more like the Spurs will be stuck with Sochan. Really wanted Sochan traded for an upgrade.
