I don’t think it was a good win. But it was a win. This was a loss against about 20 teams. We survived because Memphis was simply more inept than we were and didn’t have a clutch scorer like we did with Barnes.

Foxs first half was awful and we aren’t surviving that against most

It was a GREAT win with our three top 4 picks from the last 3 drafts in street clothes. We battled like fuck, and came out on top, despite being out rebounded by a ton. They never fucking gave up,and closed like Seabiscuit.

To clarify... not a quality win... but a "great team win" when considering all of the circumstance. A game we should win under normal circumstances, but let's be honest... without Wemby, Castle and Harper... we aren't that much better than MEM (without Ja). But the team came together and gutted out the win that we needed. That's what makes it a "great team win" IMO

Barnes clutch fade away jumper was a terrible offensive play as a teen perspective. We had nothing going on. No ball movement. No cutting. Barnes just put the ball down, found his spot and raised up.

I,love it when we continually got that little sharp shooting motherfucker from Memphis into multiple pick and rolls, having to switch onto Fox. He got roasted repeatedly, and ultimately pulled from the game. There’s more than one way to stop a shooter.

Good win with some stellar veteran play in the closing minutes. And this is the kind of game that I want Devin Vassell to play..if his shot isn't falling, make efforts on the defensive end and make use of his sneaky athleticism. He was Derrick Whitesque today. Fun to watch.

Harrison Barnes, wow. How many is he going to make folks like us eat crow. Three offensive possessions and three daggers including two very tough shots against one of the best defensive shot blockers in the game (JJJr).

Lastly Fox. Welcome, All Star Fox. He carried the Spurs today. All round performance.

Negatives - DRB% Kornet should have done better.

Other than that this was a collective hustle perfomance by the short handed Spurs. Good win.
