I think he's a terrific young man, has shown to be a solid citizen, and I'm glad he now has San Antonio in his lineage, but he's from the Kobe Bean school of trash team basketball players who, as you indicated, need to be surrounded by incredible talent to pick up their slack. I saw enough when he was here to know I don't want that type of player on my team.I’ll go against the grain. I really do like the Demar. Not on the Spurs, but I think he’s a damn good player. Him and Aldridge were never a good fit. Both great mid range players but Demar was substandard on defense. He just need to be surrounded by the right players, and maybe the ultimate 3td option. If he ever developed that three PG shot at 40% he would be just quite a bit better. Add average defense and he would be ridiculous.
He’s a great person and most people don’t give a crap but he is a stand up, dude. I have nothing but respect for him as a Spurs.
