That is unknown. My working theory is that they weren’t even supposed to tell us it was sold. Someone dug up a post from 2016 by timvp that strongly suggested that they were selling.

No one here knows exactly when it was sold,nor to whom. I frankly don’t care. Once it was in new hands, it’s no longer the site I helped grow. I’m here now, for good.
