Game Thread Spurs (32-15) @ Hornets (21-28) (Sat 1/31/26) [11:00AM CST]

thats team distribution, but its still west/east for selection process iirc
It is tbh. What I meant was one of the first three would replace someone like Doncic if he's injured while Fox might replace someone like Booker if he remains out.
Kenny voted for Castle. I think Steph might get more votes or they take votes away from each other and both don't make it.
Yeah, I think neither ends up voted in as a reserve since they took votes away from each other, but depending on injuries I think Fox will get in over Castle due to seniority and the fact Castle will be there already anyway (though that might work in Castle's favor for getting it).

The game is on Amazon Prime tomorrow. Hopefully that helps.
Dang, was hoping to catch the feed with their home announcer. Not sure I’d want him calling all my games, but dude is fun a hell

I think that's a 1am tipoff for me.

I watched that video someone put a link up to. I could not handle listening to him game after game. Great enthusiasm, but I couldn't handle hearing him go like that every game.

I heard the game was on KENS5 (local network) too, but I'll have to double check that.

Eric Collin’s has actually called a few nationally televised games this year ( can’t remember if it was for Prime or Peacock) so maybe he will be on the call tomorrow. He did seem a little toned down for the national audience admittedly. I love him on the Hornets broadcasts. He’s also done some college football announcing and it’s amazing too.

9am PT for me, pretty stoked if it didn't mean almost a guaranteed loss for the Spurs tbh :st-lol:

it will also be interesting to see how this plays out as far as the Spurs boarding a plane and getting to Orlando after the Hornets game. They might face some delays.

Damn, prob not gonna be able to watch now :st-depressed:

The Orlando game is in SA. We already won our game @ Orlando this year (the Kornet block).

Oh yeah, people made it seem like it's a back to back road game. I should have remembered the Spurs already played in Orlando.

Smh. Spurs historically struggle in afternoon games. Not ideal.
It was already an afternoon game. They rolled it back like 4 hours, maybe so the team can beat some approaching weather out of town.

Why would the weather be safer at 12 than at 3 (Charlotte time)?

This game start time is like the inverse of my Pacific Rim Conference idea where sports leagues load up some teams in Vancouver, West coast and Hawaii so ESPN has games that tip off at 11 PM Central to 1 am Central which I view as an underutilized primetime in sports /s
