Game Thread Spurs (32-15) @ Hornets (21-28) (Sat 1/31/26) [11:00AM CST]

Hoping Dylan's resurgence shows up in a big way tomorrow in his rookie matchup with Kon. Not that he has any shot at ROY, but he can still deliver the message, "Hello, I'm Dylan Harper." ... a la Johnny Cash. Wearing the black city editions tomorrow - niiice.

Or he could wear a black tuxedo and say, "I'm Harper, Dylan Harper."
Speaking of him he looked like he had a license to kill in Houston.

The Hornets won't be sneaking up on anyone here; they have been the hottest team in league the past 2 weeks. With another extra day of rest, Spurs have zero excuses to not come prepared for this game. I don't wanna hear the "we played down to our opponent" copout. They beat us last season because we took them lightly and this is a friskier and more mature Charlotte team.

I'll still take Harper long term but yeah, if I knew Kon's game would translate this well I wish the Spurs would've traded down for him tbh.
i remember people floated trading down with Pelicans to get Murphy as part of that... but with the way the draft unfolded all of VJ, Bailey, Kon, and Tre Johnson would have been off the board, so you'd have been looking at Queen, Maluach, CMB, Demin, Coward, Bryant, Fears

I predicted that we’d win against Houston and have a let down against Charlotte. Hope Im proving wrong. Charlotte is on the up and up but still streaky as hell.
We need to be past the point of let downs at this stage of the year and after losing to NO.. Lessons should have been learned. Go give a great effort Gentleman..

Dylan butt fucked Reed Shepard in the 4th Q on national television.

I like for the kid to crash the party and ruin everyone's good time a la Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival, hoss.

Feels awkward for Fox to be left behind for All-Star weekend when an entire Spurs contingent is going to be in LA. His and the team's January slump was costly in that regard. I doubt he gets picked as a reserve.
