I know minutes restriction is limiting, but can we all agree that Year 3 Wemby has fallen a little bit short of our expectations especially on offense? i really thought he would be more polished and more explosive scorer than what's shown so far

I'm not judging him until we see him in an actual offense instead of whatever we're doing right now.

i think its also teams watching a half seasons worth of tape and figuring out how to attack them. the baseline 3s are killing us.

Shit, on both ends tbh. Obviously the minutes restriction is messing with him but his BBIQ and softness are annoying af.

dont understand why wemby allows smaller players to push him out to 3 point line. its like he lets them by design. i understand catching at elbow..Houston players will continue to hang on him until refs make foul call. mitch needs to keep moving him around. the slip screen with champ was great but we dont get into sets if wemby cant get position.

I agree that it's partly a coaching issue and partly an effort issue with Wemby, but he is being grabbed and shoved and refs let opposing defenders get away with it 95% of the time.

Its not that Castle needs less minutes, he needs to play off ball and focus on being a connector/finisher and defense. Thats on Mitch.

In a vacuum, 30 points per 36 minutes on 62% TS is pretty damn good…but yeah, he still doesn’t seem like he can reliably create for himself in an efficient manner. His efficiency seems to usually just depend on whether his 3-point shot is falling or not.

I don’t have much faith that he’d be able to carry an offense in a playoff series, that’s for sure.

I’m with a bunch of rockets fans friends and it’s immediately apparent to guys who don’t watch the spurs much how dumb Mitch’s wemby management is. Dude can never get into any type of flow because he plays in like 2-4 min spurts

I've never been more infuriated lately with a player than Castle.
He has such leeway with the coaches it boggles the mind when we actually have Harper riding the pine all this time.
Harper can handle the ball better and make better decisions with it, and the defensive fundamentals are clearly there.
