Game Thread Spurs (30-14) @ Jazz (15-29) (Thu 1/22/26) [8:00PM CDT]

Thought with Wemby we'd have a whole lot more televised games. I have Prime, NBATV, etc but seems like the Spurs are hardly ever on.
Used to get every Clippers game but apparently paying off Uncle has Balmer no longer televising for free thuout SoCal.
I might break down and buy League pass but out of principle i hate adding to these multi millionaire's overpay.

Would you characterize Jazz 4th qtr O as great Spurs D or rather Jazz just missed wide open bricks? Both?

Utah young guys made stupid mistakes and the spurs hit a bunch of threes

Thought LakerRef would take over for sure.
But Marcus Dumb just did an obvious over the back for the offensive rebound. Clipper got whistled but it was challenged and overturned.
Clipper FTs make it a 10-0 run and it's looking very good.
 
Looking at the box score and minutes.
Castle = 38!!
Fox = 35 👍
Harper = 13❓
JM = 9

Did Harper get hurt or fuck up somehow? He did not have a great game, but I love that little 6-8 footer he got. Hell both him and Castle should be able to get that all the time. Notice Castle occasional trying, but has been short arming. These guys need to develop a TP floater badly.

First time seeing Wemby live was a success. Pretty entertaining game and of course can’t complain about the outcome.

Felt like we settled for 3s too often but we were on fire for most of the game so guess you can’t argue with the results too much. Castle’s dunk and Wemby’s snatch block were the highlights. Ace Bailey almost had that reverse alley oop slam that would’ve been absurd to see live, was actually kind of bummed he missed :st-lol:
