You're saying Kerr hates the Spurs? I don't think that's true at all. He's the coach of a rival team so of course he isnt going to be throwing out glowing reviews. That said, he seemingly loves Pop and I would bet if they decided to move on from Mitch that Kerr would accept the job in a second.

Jackson is just a hater because Pop refused to respect his authoritai and cut his ass before the playoffs.

Yep, looking back after a little over half a season and I think the only thing in the draft that would have made the Spurs better right now than drafting Harper would be if they pulled off Flagg.

Too early to tell but the 2025 draft is looking like the opposite of the 2022 draft. Harper and Bryant might both be beasts.

I do think Kerr hates the Spurs because actions speak louder then words.
He 100% went on the attack after Zaza's bullshit and continued to defend it for a long time afterwords.
I don't care about all of his whine dinners with Pop. As far as I'm concerned Pop didn't go off on Zaza and Kerr nearly as strong as he could of.
That asshat Zazas cheapshot changed the course of the Spurs and the NBA for years.

and i think his videos have just gotten very lazy. feels like he just finds a made basket, and then rewinds to find some minor "mistake" where a player takes a wrong step or something, finds the one still shot if it happening, and then goes on a tirade about it, rather than actually finding a legitimate breakdown of the defense

I only watch some of his stuff because yes it can get old but this one there is a lot of bad defense buy the warriors why he is not the only person to watch

2nd year TP was about to combine with Popped to lose to Dallas and rob Timmy Duncar of another Chip in 2003.
Popped had NO intention of playing Kerr, rather Speedy Clax tweaked an ankle.
It was Steve Kerr going coma that bailed out.
42-15 run sparked by Kerr after the Spurs were down 15 as the 4th qtr neared.

Finals it was Speedy Claxton replacing average Parker.

Claxton played later in that 4th quarter, he was fine, the problem was he couldn't shoot threes (same for his prototype double we later had in Jacque Vaughn) and the Spurs were about 20 points behind and the offense was bogged down, Kerr was seen as an instant offense opportunity who spaced the floor when Claxton and Parker really didn't. Along with a slashing Manu and Jackson owning the court when other pieces like Bowen, Admiral and Rose were too slow and stiff. Smallball was very efficient vs Dallas. In 2006 the strategy was similar (Mohammed and Nesterovic were useless) but I would have liked to seen more lineups involving Horry.

Yeah, I think he's just click bait. I thought Nick's more calm basketball breakdown from back in the day was much better.
