Game Thread Spurs (37-16) @ Warriors (29-25) (Wed 02/11/26) [9:00 PM CST]

2003 we beat the Nets in 6, right? Was that when Kerr started draining 3s? lol
Yup. Kerr was the double team breaker against the Mavs in game 6 when we were down like 28 points, he came in and dropped 6 treys with eyes closed.

Steven Jackson (yes that guy) also drained about 5 treys in that epic comeback.

Hard to believe those two are such insufferable Spurs hating jackasses now.

you got the win and Draymond did not hurt any spurs players... good day in my books
Absolutely.
Queen Coward Draymond gave a sample of what he could do at
94-88 Warriors with 48 left in the 3rd.
For those who recorded was that a sincere attempt at D or did Assmond go for Vics foot Zaza style?
I concede Drudmond may have just been playing D but FFS look at the exaggerated extension..

Bruh. You can give love to Harper without having to shit on Castle.

C'mon, man.
It's a Spurstalk classic.

That was one of the main reasons I left there. Hopefully with Castle and Harper both being from the same country and the same race there will be a lot less of that this time around.

You're saying Kerr hates the Spurs? I don't think that's true at all. He's the coach of a rival team so of course he isnt going to be throwing out glowing reviews. That said, he seemingly loves Pop and I would bet if they decided to move on from Mitch that Kerr would accept the job in a second.

Jackson is just a hater because Pop refused to respect his authoritai and cut his ass before the playoffs.

The future will be bright with both them gives a long window to compete for titles I hoping long term Castle becomes a combo guard and Harper is the PG so we have Parker and Manu all over again to pair with the Bigman.

I love that we have both them

Yep, looking back after a little over half a season and I think the only thing in the draft that would have made the Spurs better right now than drafting Harper would be if they pulled off Flagg.

Too early to tell but the 2025 draft is looking like the opposite of the 2022 draft. Harper and Bryant might both be beasts.

I'm just now watching some highlights. The spurs were really down 15+ on the 3rd quarter? What the hell? Great comeback, but that should not have happened.

I do think Kerr hates the Spurs because actions speak louder then words.
He 100% went on the attack after Zaza's bullshit and continued to defend it for a long time afterwords.
I don't care about all of his whine dinners with Pop. As far as I'm concerned Pop didn't go off on Zaza and Kerr nearly as strong as he could of.
That asshat Zazas cheapshot changed the course of the Spurs and the NBA for years.

Jackson is just a complete fool who is just insufferable with his posuers show with Matt Barnes.

The reason the Spurs eventually came back and won despite a bad game
this guys content gets old quick

and i think his videos have just gotten very lazy. feels like he just finds a made basket, and then rewinds to find some minor "mistake" where a player takes a wrong step or something, finds the one still shot if it happening, and then goes on a tirade about it, rather than actually finding a legitimate breakdown of the defense

I only watch some of his stuff because yes it can get old but this one there is a lot of bad defense buy the warriors why he is not the only person to watch
