Game Thread Spurs (26-11) @ Celtics (23-13) (Sat 1/10/26) [7PM CST]

if Champ is out, who starts? Sochan? Bryant? Waters? I think Keldon will still come off the bench. Will be interesting to see.

When I lived in MA, I went to the game in 2020 before Covid hit. Demar had 31 and Lonnie had 18 off the bench in 19 minutes and we stomped them.

I also went to the game in 2021 during Covid. Had seats on the baseline that we as close as they let you sit in a 25% full stadium. My wife and I brought a sign that said "Send Whataburger" hoping the local SA broadcast would catch us, don't know if they did but none of our SA friends said anything so I assume not. Robert Williams was still on the Celtics then, and the Aggie alum pointed at us and said "hell yeah" before the game :st-lol:. We lost that one in OT, with Tatum going for 60 and it was the largest comeback in Celtics history, we were up by 29 at halftime.

Now that I think of it, I think we've lost every game I've been to since:

Nov 3, 2021 v Mavericks - L 108-109
Oct 20, 2023 @ Clippers - L 83-123 (big yikes)
Dec 16, 2025 v Knicks in Cup final - L 113 124

I have an opportunity to sit courtside at the April 4 game @ DEN... maybe I'll check the standings before I decide to go.
If you 100% want to get on the local broadcast wear a Sean Elliott jersey.

I was in an Elliott City Edition Black Fiesta. No dice. Also will not be wearing that jersey today, for it is cursed for @ BOS games.
