Game Thread Spurs (19-7) vs Hawks (15-13) (Fri 12/19/25) [6:30PM CDT]

hope Vic gets back into SL and 25-28 mins vs the Wizards. Warm up for OKC. Im actually looking forward to the home game more as I feel like we’re getting blown out on Christmas

This was nice.
Easy W, Wemby looks to be back in form and the game took less than 2 hours.

Hopefully we can do the same against the Wizards.

Sochan just sucks tbh. Offers nothing offensively. Not a threat whatsoever unless he's playing off Wemby. It's too bad, that was a top-10 pick we used on him. For shame.
still does the shit where he dribbles into the paint, has no clue what to do with it, and has to panic-pass it out

It is what it is. Just glad the Spurs didn’t give him a loyalty/good soldier contract extension because it would have been the case if we had Pop and were still tanking.

Hopefully the Spurs take care of business against the Wiz early again Sunday so they can prepare to slay the dragon twice in three days tbh.

expect more of the same minute allocations on Sunday at Washington. We'll be well rested.

Trash lineup is playing like trash. You'd think these guys would be extra motivated to show out with their limited opportunities instead of stinking it up like this.
Olynyk, Jordan, and Waters just getting a check. Jeremy’s checked out. That just leaves CB and he’s hitting the side of the backboard.

Drives me nuts. Just go up and shoot it at that point. You're like 4 feet away from the basket. A soft little jump-hook would be easy money there.

Man, bit worried about Fox's game of late, not sure he's just deferring to much or if he's a bit banged up? He's a team player, though, so might just be letting the other guys take over when he draws attention. Doesn't look like he's looking to force anything, but I would like to see him be just a tad more aggressive looking for his own shot. I just want De'Aaron to get better at defense (both individual and team) and become a better passer too. Those are two things he can work on and improve. Love seeing the three guards playing together. Love the hydra, but with these guys, you cut one off, the other one comes back. It's almost a perpetual hydra as far as I'm concerned.

He's getting swatted at the rim on fast breaks and can't get past defenders very well. If it was only him, we'd be in trouble, but he's getting covered by Castle and Harper. We can only hope he starts acting his contract.

The way I see it, Fox is deferring a lot. He is trying to get everyone involved first.

Im not concerned at all as he is bringing that swagger and confidence to the team.

Spurs always get up for the draft implications
