Knicks have the 4th best net rating in the league vs. Spurs sitting at 8th. Knicks are 3rd in SRS which includes strength of schedule while the Spurs are 8th there as well.

Obviously you can blame injuries and say that the Spurs would be doing better if they were healthy, but I don’t think it’s crazy for NY to be favored by 2.5 points.

This game is the 1st of a 3 games in 4 days grind. This just happened 2 weeks ago and the Spurs ran out of gas in the 3rd game against the Cavs. This time the third game is against the Hawks. Hopefully the Spurs can endure this time around.

Knicks being favoured makes sense being we've played one game full strength. I think it will be a dogfight and hope the Knicks think they got this licked. Maybe they should go out drinking and gambling tonight!?

I wonder if the Spurs intend to sit Wemby out for 1 of the b2b games. Maybe they will get cheeky and sit him for the Wizards game to have him available for the extra important Hawks game.

Knicks are kind of quietly having an awesome season, we should understandably be a slight underdog. They haven't had the injury issues to their main guys like we have. Their offense is awesome and their defense ranking is better than most expected as well.

Another big game for Castle. I’m rooting for Harper to get a better game than the last. Vic, Vassell, Fox will continue to hum like a well-oiled machine. I know this is not historically what the Big 3 would gun for (if this exists then) but for the real Championship, idk. But it would mean a lot for this young team to win this Emirates Cup as step competition for what lies ahead
