Game Thread Spurs (13-5) @ Timberwolves (11-8) (Sun 11/30/25) [6:00PM CDT]

Anyone have a good guess when Wemby and Castle will return. I haven't heard a word.

Wemby, never wore a boot, was given a 2–3 week timeline from the 13th, meaning December 4th marks three weeks. He’s set to be re-evaluated then, similar to Castle’s timeline for his hip flexor which was a 2–3-week prognosis and the MRI was done on the 18th. So, his reevaluation is on or between Dec 2nd or Dec 9th

They're on a b2b, I'd let him try and beat us while stopping everyone else.
Stop Randle from bullying us on the inside and getting rebounds.
Let Gobert do his thing because he's useless with the ball.
Put heavy pressure of whoever is trying to be the point guard for them since they don't have one other than washed Conley, we should generate turnovers and stop the flow of their offense.
Jeremy could actually be useful for matching up with Naz, Timberwolves bench other than him is really bad.

Spurs are 4.5 dogs as of right now. We are 4-1 on the season as underdogs, and 3-1 as road underdogs. We're also 2-2 on Sundays so far this season, 2-0 at home and 0-2 on the road on Sundays. Both our Sunday wins were afternoon games, whereas the Sunday losses were normal evening tipoffs (like tonight's). I'll be wearing my Fox jersey (4-0 this season) to pair with LeBowen's thread starting to tip max odds in our favor.

Both losses were to the Suns too fwiw.

I'm 9-1 including preseason.
Can't lose, tbh.

We're undefeated when Harper plays and doesn't get injured during the game.
Very few teams in the league have the luxury of 48 minutes of elite ballhandling.

Building on the point about 48 minutes of elite ballhandling...

This 5-1 without Wemby has coincided with a much improved turnover rate. We were routinely putting up a TOV% in the teens (often in the high teens and even as high as 20.2% against TOR), but after Wemby went out the team really put in some great work reducing that which I've highlighted in this image. The only game we reverted to doing a poor job taking care of the ball: the loss against PHX.

I will pace the room, use a lot of profanity, and have some tequila with my Mexican food. This should help get us a win.

makes sense when Wemby and Castle are the team leaders in turnovers and average 7.6 TOs among themselves. Hopefully they can cut those down when they return.

The new TV commentator can barely contain himself now that Sean is back. It’s like a one-sided rom-com with this guy, and he’s clearly smitten with Elliott. “What did you eat for Thanksgiving, Sean?” he asks, batting his eyes and mussing his hair while touching Sean’s shoulder. Jesus.

His post game press conference after DEN was the first time I think I even heard him speak. Thought he was well spoken in that environment.

Whenever there was one of those "player acts like a reporter" situations over the past few years it was him on the mic. Or even at the camera during some media availability, I'm surpirsed you guys didn't notice it.

I'm putting all my fan capital into wishing Jeremy has a great game tonight. I want to see alternating threes and dunks, and see him take advantage of Gobert's hands of stone.

Can we get a 16 and 10 with two 3's ?

Ah the I'm having a heart attack and mom tells me to walk it off commercial again
