Game Thread Spurs (27-11) @ Timberwolves (25-14) (Sun 1/11/26) [6:00PM CST]

I feel like Vassell being out the last week and a half or whatever it’s been is having a trickle down affect on the guards. It’s forcing all 3 of Fox, Castle and Harper to try and do more. Not saying he’s perfect or the “missing piece,” but it has had an affect on everyone else. He can get hot and hit timely shots (as we saw against OKC in the cup game). Hopefully he’s back soon.
A very astute and level headed observation and I think you are absolutely correct. Vassell's absense has narrowed the spacing and closed off driving lanes for Fox, Castle and Harper, taking away the best parts of their games and turning them into jump shooters.

They said Ant is shooing 70% in crunch time situations, that's just insane and he got us again last night.
What's the context? This season in all the games he's played so far? He's shooting at 70%? That's an insane stat if true.

F#$K, that's amazing. AE is legit when the pressure is on. It seemed that way to me just by watching, but that backs it up.

Pretty surprised Edgecombe is up that high, especially as a rookie. That's super impressive.

Why is Anthony Edwards not considered as the face of the NBA. He seems to have it all on the court. He also seems to be a funny, joking guy off the court and locks in on the court. Is it off court stuff? I think I saw he has a couple of baby mommas?

FWIW, NBA L2M says Randle should have been called for a 3-second violation on Edward's game winner (video here)

On the flip side, they also say Castle should have been called for a foul on Ant before Barnes hit the 3 to put us up 1.
