I mean it fit well enough to win 60 games and be the only team in the league to put a beatdown or 2 on the defending champs...

Problem is half our team is shook, which was to be expected. If we don't do anything but come out in the 3rd and just play how we played in the regular season this won't be a 10 point game going into the 4th. We've proven multiple times this series we can make the blazers go on prolonged droughts. No reason we can't do it again.

Also the team down is the team that always plays with more desperation. Rockets shitting the bed and the Nuggets pussying out isn't the norm. Portland knows if they lose this game this series is done in 5 and they are playing like it.

In the regular season. Playoffs are more so about fit and the Spurs lack of shooting and size is being exploited.

They'll still win this series though.

Just plant Wemby's ass on the dunker spot, get Castle and Harper to drive on Clingan's slow ass and just throw lobs to Wemby non stop. Lobs and putbacks, that should be Wemby's entire shot diet in the second half. That shit would then open up other options for the team.

They did this shit in the first play of the half, result = dunk. That play is there everytime we want, just spam the shit out of it until they adjust.

Phoenix is overmatched against OKC. And yeah sure Denver is worse than Portland. Lol

Have you watched them play? Denver has been atrocious, way worse defensive and offensive performances than the regular season. Phoenix hasn't even shown up. This Portland team has played a lot better than their regular season. Props to Tiago.

Outside of game 1 and the final 17 min of game 3 the Spurs have played way worse than their regular season.

What usually causes it? Just running too much, or running while in pain and not stopping to rest it?

I don't want to lose to a team that has similar playoff experience. Correct me if I am wrong, but Jrue and Grant (was Grant on the Nuggets Championship team?) are two have that have had extensive playoff experience (that actually played for their teams during post season games in a Championship run? Was RW on the Celtics when they won?)

Spurs should still win the series, but it's probably going to be in 6 or even 7. They just aren't ready for this level yet. Maybe they adjust and get ready during this series. Maybe it takes another year.

Now this is a fair point. But I’d also say that our team isn’t built on this premise (and it’s hard to argue it should have been given the results of the season). I don’t see how we could expect to just completely change the team’s DNA come playoff time. The team’s success is built around a dispersed load that only his peak load on Victor. I don’t think we have a backup playbook that would even facilitate a Fox centric approach… maybe we should have had one?

FO needs to have summer sale on the bigs we have and get one that can do a little more than the bench bigs!!!

This in and out of the lineup certainly kills the team's rhythm and offense. And then Victor plays outside of the offense, and when he's missing like tonight, completely breaks the offense and doesn't let other players get in rhythm.
