For me it was over training. I had hurt my knee playing basketball and instead of letting it rest and heal I just right into a training for a city marathon that I never even ran in.What usually causes it? Just running too much, or running while in pain and not stopping to rest it?
.I have to say, with all the small injuries fox, castle and harper seem to be having, i'm happy that there's 3 of them rather than 2Fox is not the problem...but he also isn't the solution. And when you get paid 50 million a year you should be the solution.
Maybe by not being the solution he is actually the problem?![]()
Man, Doris Burke fucking sucks. Why hasn't ESPN fired her? I wish I could switch to Sean and Jacob. I don't want to listen to this ESPN crap anymore.
Now this is a fair point. But I’d also say that our team isn’t built on this premise (and it’s hard to argue it should have been given the results of the season). I don’t see how we could expect to just completely change the team’s DNA come playoff time. The team’s success is built around a dispersed load that only his peak load on Victor. I don’t think we have a backup playbook that would even facilitate a Fox centric approach… maybe we should have had one?Fox is not the problem...but he also isn't the solution. And when you get paid 50 million a year you should be the solution.

Jrue is strong as fuckShaq was right for once about Wemby deciding to take a jumper on Jrue instead of taking his ass to to the paint.
For a professional commentator, she legitimately sounds clueless about basketballMan, Doris Burke fucking sucks. Why hasn't ESPN fired her? I wish I could switch to Sean and Jacob. I don't want to listen to this ESPN crap anymore.
As another poster said - too bad can’t play the other centers because Luke is the offense for Portland - once he is in, they drive or slam over him and he cannot grab a rebound today but plays volleyball and tries to tap outHe has to play to get the rust off. He would have still had rust had the Spurs waited to play him for game 5.
Thanks for the explanation. You're like me when I was younger. Me, I grew up watching the guys I watched and thought it's soft to sit out and just push through it when injured. For me it was over training. I had hurt my knee playing basketball and instead of letting it rest and heal I just right into a training for a city marathon that I never even ran in..
One of those "I'm going to push through" type of things where I clearly should have just let my body heal in the beginning.
I mean it fit well enough to win 60 games and be the only team in the league to put a beatdown or 2 on the defending champs...The Spurs' talent doesn't fit as well and the Trail Blazers are well suited to defend them.
Still, for a team that talked a big game this season they've been mostly pathetic in this series.
