Game Thread Spurs (58-18) @ Clippers (39-37) (Thur 4/2/2026) [9:30PM CDT]

Commentators saying 66 pts on the paint without Wemby. That’s our 3-guard offense attacking the rim. Ty Lue also mentioned the Clippers failed to stop the Spurs penetrating. The Spurs are just skimming the surface. I can’t wait to see the finished product. This team is going to be sooo good in a very long time

I can't believe I've watched an entire era with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker and seen so much success and now it's like I'm on the cusp of getting to see it again. Soak it up gentleman. Almost no one gets to do this.

Mitch is so lucky he’ll turn out to be another winningest Coach after all is done

The three guard monster is our biggest strength. Wemby is just a cheat code over and above this. I hope the Spurs make the best use of this strength during the prime of the Fantastic Mr Fox.

Castle and Harper also had very good games. On both ends of the floor, no less. Harper blossoming so quickly into a star right in front of our eyes while playing limited minutes and well within the system. And Castle is threatening All NBA 3rd team at least in just his sophomore year. With Ant and Cade most likely becoming ineligible, Castle has a good chance of becoming an All NBAer without even being an All Star. Amazing stuff.

Good to see a spry and sturdy Kornhub today.

Wemby will be motivated the next game against the Nuggets. But after that I think the Spurs should protect and play him sparingly. 30 min against Nuggets, 25 min against Philly, 20 min against Portland and he should be eligible for the awards. And then rest them in the last 2 games (maybe even run our JV lineup).

Warning for everyone here. This is the first year of this new Spurs era. You cannot expect everything to go perfect and the team to be a finished product from the get go. We have all the potential in the World but still have a lot to learn.

I'm not saying we can't do anything this season, just a reminder to keep an open mind with the team and if at some point it doesn't go our way, it's just a part of the process. Just enjoy the moment, not everyone has that chance ever.

Great night overall. Great win by the Spurs without Wemby and OKC winning is what it is, but the Lakers getting blasted by almost 40+ while bringing the fanbase back down to reality feels good.

Sounds like Doncic is fine (we'll see if the MRI finds anything). Spurs need to win on Saturday to keep Denver in OKC's bracket tbh.
