NBA 2025 NBA Offseason thread

Grizzlies GM: Here's the guaranteed max deal with only condition being you don't get into any legal trouble again.
Ja: Alright.

Ja's uncle is part of his new team, ILOC. What could go wrong?

Perhaps Ainge will properly unload Markkanen now that he has a little sizzle about him again thanks to his nice Eurobasket performance. Wouldn't be surprised if he overplays it again and expects a massive haul that doesn't materialize and Lauri's perceived value tapers off again. It is the younger Ainge in charge now, maybe he learned from his dad's mistake.
He’s not nearly as attractive an asset as he was with 2 seasons left on his bargain second contract. It’s really hard to qualify anyone on their third deal as a bargain unless they are a mega-superstar. As long as healthy, Wemby will always be underpaid.

Jesus the preseason hasn't even started yet and we already have a slew of injuries

Embiid is finished, multiple meniscus surgeries at 300 lb end up like this. I wouldn't trust any player who went under the knife with Philadelphia TBH. Also, they were stupid to extend him, they should have cashed in when they had the chance.

wow Embiid is like an illusion. Dude has literally played in 55% of the total possible games over his career.

Yeah some medical staffs deserve whatever the opposite of the benefit of the doubt is. Philly, Portland, Phoenix for sure.

I need some meta analysis on correlation and causation re: where Durant plays chaos follows, so to speak.

Does he cause the dysfunction?

Or would only dysfunctional ownership pursue such a player?

Scott?

Lol.

Haha, this would be a fun project...

Scoot Henderson has hamstring tear 4-8 weeks
Georges Niang jazz out two weeks stress reaction left foot

Multi-year deal, lmao.
I want us to destroy them and send them to history books.

So did Kuminga take the QO? Feels like we should hear something about that soon if Horford's deal is announced

Also god damn the Warriors are an old team
