What was the Doncic injury? Official report says lower leg contusion, but the hockey fan in me laughs at the thought of leaving a game with a leg contusion.

Reddick said this publicly

"He told me at halftime he couldn’t go," Lakers coach JJ Redick said.

Sounds a little aggressive, no? Normally coaches don't throw it on the players like that, especially the star player. Is he frustrated with Doncic being fragile?

Zubac out with a grade 2 ankle sprain.
Clippers about to get even worse.
Time for some more John Collins at C because Brook Lopez is beyond washed.

Udoka is just a younger Thibs.
KD played 87 minutes on a road b2b in Denver and Sacramento.
87!!!!

Amen and KD are at 37mpg for the season.
Sengun is at 36 and Jabari is at 35.

Is he Thibbs or does he just have such a short bench thats playable? I'm honestly not sure, but either way, that team doesn't scare me at all...

If anything, they have plenty of wings and playing 37 year old KD so much is inexcusable.
They're a gimmicky roster that can't do much in half-court offense if their bully ball stops working, they have next to no playmaking.

It’s a little weird that people sort of dance around the clear fact that Luka is only a fraction of the athlete he used to be, even though he’s supposed to be in his physical prime. And hes probably not going to ever get back into real shape, which means he’s never going to play defense and his body is never going to hold up over 4 playoff rounds.

Agree. Houston barely has a bench. Durant also activates players like Reed Sheppard, who gets great looks off of him, and their offense becomes one note (Sengun) without Durant.

But the Rox should have taken care of the Kings. They were up double digits late; it's on them for making Durant play so much.

Clutch time in POR for DET and Duren out muscles Clingan on the offense glass and Shaedon pulls a champ and steps out of bounds on the sideline, POR bricking FT after FT. Blazers falling apart at the end OR maybe Chauncy is still coaching while out on bond

It's possible I don't understand all the rules, but absolutely egregious in POR... Advija challenges Tobias Harris on a 3 as the shot clock expires and Harris puts up an airball. Refs call a foul. It is challenged and overturned as Advija didn't foul Harris... but instead of the refs calling it a shot clock violation, they award a jump ball at center court and a fresh 24 second shot clock... DET wins the jump and scores to go up 7 with under a minute to play. Brutal and Splitter is understandably incensed.

Mentally ill Draymond back to his antics again.

Dude i made this exact same post about a sixers game earlier this season.

They called a goaltend on Philly just to be safe so they could review it right away. Of course it was overturned after 20 minutes. And then it ended up being a fresh 24 for the other team after the jump ball and they ran out the clock instead of Philly having a chance to win.

Fucking atrocious. They use review as a crutch now, as if it has no consequences and doesn’t ruin the experience for the audience. Refs seem to not even need a challenge often times. They just decide that they are retarded in advance and need help to officiate the last 2 minutes.

Hollinger commented on this very play in the DET-POR game and said he also doesn't understand WHY this is the rule... but it is, in fact, the rule.

Seems like the NBA just dropped the ball on this one when devising the challenge rules.

The double awful thing about the Philly game was that the nba official twitter account for the refs put out this huge brag about how awesome the sequence of events was because they used new technology to determine the goaltend.

The technology, for all of its wonder, confirmed something that a 5 year old could see and also took much longer than a normal replay review. So by what rationale should this technology even exist? And why are you bragging about being dogshit?

Chicago beats Atl
Dallas beats Denver

Cooper with 33 pts 9 boards 9 assists

Obviously Rockets need to pick up a legit point guard, but the question is, can Ime actually coach an offense? Look at Boston: got better on that end after he left and they're still elite even with Tatum out.
