Excited to see what he can do for real with a better team. Best PG the Spurs have had since 2013 TP

Plot twist: Fox was given a max deal to just be our community ambassador

That's the best someone's put it for how it should work with Fox and Castle. The point he mentioned about Cooper playing PG is a good way to look at it. Both would be more lethal off the ball. Nice analysis from Cuttino. Thanks for posting the video.

9/14 shooting for 24 points. Great start.

This guy is going to be a mismatch most nights.

I wasn't expecting such a good game for his first game back as I thought he'd be a bit more rusty, but great first game back. I was wondering why he wasn't bringing the ball up the court more, but he explained it in his postgame interview perfectly. Hopefully he's all good and continues playing better and better as he gets his conditioning down and shakes the rust off.

I love the clutch genes on this guy. We need that.
Hopefully his assists go up and he’s more connected to the rest of the offense as he gets playing time with everyone. Fox was a great individual contributor last night but operating mostly solo.

That dimension of speed and floor leadership is just something that we haven’t had since the Parker manu days. He may not be as good an orchestrator as Manu or as good a finisher as a prime Tony but he combined both in one package.

His game is so different from Harper and castle that three of them being in the floor together is something that should work. Harper and fox can take turns running the offence depending on matchups, and castle can be that connector and even run the offence in a pinch. The responsibility is on the two young guys to learn how to play off ball more and up their shooting percentages, reason being fox should be able to get them the ball for open shots and also fox is plenty good playing without the ball already.

Guys, any idea why Fox is not sharing the primary Ball handler job with Castle?

He’s letting Castle develop. Best to do that early in the season, give him some volume PG reps, including 4th quarters. CP3 did the same thing last year. Castle would inbound the ball, and get it right back in both cases. It’ll pay off big time if we meet OKC in the playoffs. You don’t want that to be the first time he runs the offense.

I'd define "not long for" as possibly as soon as this off season.
