Player De'Aaron Fox Expected To Miss The Start Of The Regular Season

Already ruled out for tomorrows game.

My concern is this was a more serious hamstring injury than they let on, and now it’s not healing as they hoped, so there will be surgery keeping him out even longer.

Same that happened with Steven Adams’ knee causing him to miss way more time than just getting the surgery in the first place
Oh please no.. But since he's young and this is dragging out I am starting to get very worried..

I just stubbed my toe, I guess I can't go to work for the next few weeks

All kidding aside I agree that this is worrisome having to be out for 5 months based on something reported as a minor injury. Something more has to be wrong here imo

Don’t mind him being out long. It was the lack of info and transparency that was frustrating
100%. This was the main point that had most of us questioning WTF is going on. Happy that he is back now, though, but a bit of transparency would have gone a long way. Even if it wasn't serious, they could have said something like, we're just taking the time to make sure he's good to go for the season as we don't want to risk reinjury. Hamstring's are a tricky thing, and we want to make sure, and for him to be healthy for the whole season, he won't be back until he's ready. That's all they had to say even if it was mild, I'm sure people would have understood.

For all of us complaining about Fox hamstring injury I am pretty sure Jalen Green is going to miss most of if not all of the a game or two back from a hamstring injury. And he reinjured it just coming off a screen and driving to the rim.

As good as he looks, it was worth the rest. Doubly because the team without him can grind it out to keep the score close. He is such instant offense. He and Harper in the backcourt together are going to be amazing.

Good point, but would the league have understood that?

Sounds like Jalen Greens initial injury was 1st week of training camp, so beginning of October. Safe bet that it wasn’t as severe as the Fox hamstring strain, but a little over 4 weeks for Green to recover still sounds early for such a temperamental part of the body. Hopefully the reinjury wasn’t as bad as it looked for Green.
