Player The Layne Staley Depression-Laden Foxhole of De'Aaron Martez Fox

Ironically Durant wasn’t when he was with GS even after winning two FMVPs with two titles, and coming close to a third only losing due to injuries.

But too bad curry didn’t talk to Durant.
Where can I sign KD replicating his GS stint with us?

I didn’t expect you to do that, but I do expect that after you claimed victory over and over again on how you were the oracle and foresaw CP3 would fit in the spurs locker room, with everyone and their cousins against it, got multiple people reminding you that it’s not what they remembered, plus it has nothing to do with the current situation of Durant, you would at least jog your memory a little.

But if that failed, you were able to read through the post you pulled up and linked to to somehow claim victory, (despite you either not actually reading through it or expect no one else to do so, then pull a random quote out and mangled it up to make it appear that you were right all along) and at least admit most people weren’t saying CP3 won’t fit in the locker.

But if that still failed, you won’t continue to change the subject after people called out when someone actually read through the thread and tallied the results for you, while claiming 60 percent of the people were against you to confuse others that it was what you were talking about.

Then after getting called out for moving goal posts, to admit that you, you were wrong all along and it is me who is unreasonable for expecting you to either remember or actually read through a thread you started and carry around like a trophy.

I don’t think that’s too much to ask for.
Dude, this is the post I made that started the whole CP3 argument:

That is easy to say now. I vividly remember folks saying he would be a horrible role model with a loser mentality that would negatively influence our young prospects.

Tell me where did I say "everyone and their cousins against it". Heck, tell me where did I even say "most"?

I said what I said, and it's a 100% faithful representation of what happened.

The thing is, I don't think Durant needs much changing. Just stay away from burner accounts, tbh.
Durant is locker room poison. The fact that the Spurs never made an offer probably speaks to the relationship between Pop and Kerr, who would know all that you need to know about KD.

So you’d like a worse Durant with the same issues. Or you somehow think his whininess somehow go lock step with his abilities?

Just list it all out, why would Durant not duplicate his locker room issues, which he has exhibited in all of the five teams he played for.

I guess 60/40 isn’t most in your neck of the woods.

That 60/40 comment was after our "receipts" argument and in response to @spurraider21 saying he thought most people were on board with bring CP3. It was never about me thinking 60% of the people thought CP3 would be a locker room cancer.

I wish him to be successful, I guess that my expectations are higher than some here due to his next contract. Hopefully, he can play great in the playoffs and who knows they might win it all, and then work during the summer on his FT and 3-point shooting, they both need to be more reliable for a guard
Your expectations may indeed be higher than some here. My expectations are very high for him. I'm assuming that he has not reached his final form with this team. Meanwhile he's doing everything the right way. He's not pouting, he's not getting unnecessary technicals, he's not throwing fits, he's not throwing his teammates under the bus, he's playing defense, he's going for rebounds.

In short, he's committed to being in an organization that wants to play winning basketball.

So … hold on a second, you are saying your rationale for your fantastic take that Durant will comply when everyone, including @frenchfred, who was the first guy to float the fox for Durant trade, agreed there is a high risk of him being a locker room cancer, is when a majority of posters either agreed with you or don’t care on the topic of CP3 being a cancer? Like, using the draft example again, because a guy said we should draft Duncan over KVH like the vast majority of people supported, we should listen to the same guy if he said we should draft scoot over wemby?

What’s the point of the CP3 trade exactly? Like, the main thing he was supposed to bring didn’t work out, the spurs underachieved, he took playing time From castle when the season was done mid season, his play style did not fit with the spurs players at all, he didn’t help castle with his PnR game, which were all reasons to pursue CP3, but the one single risk of him being a locker room cancer didn’t materialize like most of the people agreed, so it means that you will be right on a point that so far, nobody agreed?
That's not what we were arguing here, though. We were talking about locker room presence. Folks back then used to cry that CP3 would be a bad influence and he proved to be completely the opposite.

Well, I thought you were talking exclusively about his locker room presence.
I didn’t even saw this. It was with regards to his work as the union rep, which he did screw over anyone who aren’t his superstar buddies. It’s pretty clear that it’s me hating him for what he did. Still do. I rooted for him when he’s a spur but I still think he’s a terrible person.

i think I’d say I’m reading it that way, unless you want to claim to have the special gift of clairvoyance when most people had the same view.

I’m just waiting for you to shift to another topic that would require me to do all the work to prove you wrong. Like, have you been right in this thread yet?

Dude, watch the damn game. :st-lol:

No matter how many words you write, you haven't proved me wrong and I exposed your hypocresy. Just give it a rest.

Yup totally changed the subject with absolutely nothing to back it up. Like yeah, you can’t be proven wrong because you kept moving the goal post, and just lie through your teeth for all the points.

It’s pretty pathetic.

I didn't change shit. It's not my problem you have basic comprehension problems.

No problem with his play tonight. What he did tonight and last game are what I'm expecting. Serious quality basketball

Like I said early in the season, I expect Fox to be the clear #2 when the playoffs come.

SHOUTOUTS DE AARON

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but the young guards seem to genuinely like having Fox around and have said how much he’s meant to their development. Besides him being good player he seems like a genuinely good guy to have around.
