Game Thread Spurs vs Loong Lions (Mon 10/6/25) [7:00PM CDT]

The Loong-Lions are coming in at full strength? God damn, we need to poach the Guangzhou training staff.
 
In austin CW on directv is ch 54...lineup not showing any spurs game...but sometimes the lineup is wrong and we wont know til gametime if its airing at all...

I had bad luck with the CW last year when my provider was mis-identifying me as being in Austin. Hope you fare better.
 
I guess I gotta do an obligatory post for the first ever BB GDT.

I'd normally tend to agree, but Vics mentality seems a little different this year which makes me wonder if he will "let" them load manage him like before. I wonder how this DVT occurrence will impact his mindset; he almost seems more intent on conducting his career on his terms going forward and I think that could impact his view on load management and artificial minute restrictions. If he really focused on training "violently" (and i've no reason to think he didn't) for this season the last thing he wants is to sit out for precautions. Legit injury/banged up? Hold him out. Sitting healthy Vic on back to backs etc? Nah.

He playfully said he wouldn't give Mitch a choice when asked if he was going to play in the scrimmage. I'm wondering if that was less of a joke than it initially seemed. At the end of the day he is the franchise right now, the coaches and medical staff can make suggestions and recommendations but Vic's voice is as loud as anyone's now.
 
There was a dude on ST like five years ago who wanted Kaminsky.

Yes this is my dilemma as well. Will CW on 54 play the game or not. I have watched games on 54 before if I remember correctly.
 
to guys who can play at guard today are.... Champagnie, Jones Garcia, Flagler, Waters. we cant even run point sochan smh

In the late 90s I had a 1982.5 Datsun/Nissan Maxima with busted power steering. To take a 90 turn you really wanted to have some good momentum going into the corner. That's Devin. He needs a full 5 years of momentum before he can turn that corner.
