Game Thread Spurs (48-18) vs Hornets (34-33) (Sat 3/14/2026) [2:30PM CDT]

Mention in what? Iguodala won chamionship and finas mvp. Is he ever mentioned as one of yhe greatest players of all time?
Well....Iguodala has earned the reputation to be the 1st option to shoot the last shot for a "fate of universe on the line" game accordingly to Max Kellyman :st-lol::st-lol::st-lol:

No because he’s a role player who didn’t deserve the award to begin with..
Lmao but he won the fmvp. Thats why FMVP its not really that valuable than a league MVP. Because any scrub who got hot in a 7 game series can win the fmvp. Even scrub danny green had a chance to win it in 2013 if the spurs didnt choke.

Oh steve nash the 2 time league league is included 75 nba greatest players of all time and is a hall of famer.

Nobody ever mentions Steve Nash. The top 75 list was full of a lot of bullshit. If you were paying attention. Dwight Howard is off that list. You’re obsession with Victor getting all these awards is quite frankly weird.

Steve Nash is 100% not one of the greatest players of all time. Not even close. And I told you a while back get over this idea that Victor is ever going to be in the greatest conversation. Michael Jordan is not leaving that house. Ever.

Steve Nash is not one of the greatest players of all time lmfao. A glorified Tyler herro who could pass better. Meme offense, zero defense, got charity MVPs like SGA. Glad horry knocked his ass into the scorer’s table.

Wemby won't reach Duncan levels. Duncan IMO is #2 considering his stacked era, Bird and Magic didn't have the competition, same for Kareem & Russell, and Lebron is a wussy stat hog and unclutch and 3.001 - 6 in the Finals.

Duncan is #2, but imo he would have been 1B behind Jordan if we had won 6. Pop's fault.

Wemby is just getting started.

But if he is focused like what he is doing after all star, its the greatest dominance on BB we have ever seen.

He alters the game from multiple ways. In closing secs, by getting the O rebound itself he made us win 2-3 games. It’s just a sample.

I put Tim top 5. People love to use so much hyperbole when somebody comes along that is immensely talented. We all love Victor. But to be better than Tim Duncan means he needs to win 4 or 5 championships on top of all of these individual awards. And the greatest conversation like I said that’s dead. That belongs to Michael Jordan and it’s not going to change.

Victor is NOT averaging 30 for a career and 3 peating twice.

Michael Jordan will be leaving that house as the people who grew up watching him die off. Simple fact is that the GOAT debate has and always will be extremely fluid depending on the generation you're talking to.
Well you have an entire generation of people that grew up on LeBron James, and despite all his accomplishments, he is NOT even close to Michael Jordan according to most. The Jordan brand is so huge. The myth of Michael Jordan to an extent. The image. It’s just too much to overcome as far as I’m concerned. At least in my lifetime.

Victor's the MVP. Very good win.

And good game from Kornet. He hasn't had a good game in a while. A bit concerned that Julian has faded a bit this past stretch of games. He's replaced HB in the starting 5, but now he's starting to fade. He has to turn it around as we don't really have many more options for that starting spot.
I think Champagnie is banged up. Was hobbling after the Clippers game. Hope they can rest him for a couple days at some point.

If wemby win a ring this year and stays healthy though out his career There is a chance he’ll suprass jordan as the goat. Imo

This dude is giving you 32 points, with 50% 3pt shooting, cleaning up the glass with 12 rebounds, dishing out 8 assists, adding a cool 2 steals and 3 blocks to round it up..........

And he's also giving you Defensive Player of The Year work on the other end.

The NBA doesn't talk enough about Wemby. We don't talk enough about Wemby. It just ain't normal, what he's doing.

17 of the last 19 won, with one of the losses coming without him. We are so back it's crazy TBH
He is the mvp and it’s not even close. Shai and Jokic doesn’t do shit on defense compared to Wemby.

It will be hard to surpass MJ as the GOAT tbh....

To surpass MJ as the GOAT, I think that player has to meet the followings:

- At least 7 rings as the 'Bus Driver' and 7 FMVPs
- At least 5 or more regular season MVPs
- Iconic playoffs games with strong and clutch performances
- Game winners in playoffs
- Win back-to-back or 3peats.

The 7 rings alone I think is almost impossible in this modern era and the apron rules

I'm 24. I can attest that most people my age do not consider Jordan the goat.

"Done with the 90's" is a real thing.

As long as wemby wins:
6rings( atleast 1 back to back),
5 league MVP,
6 finals MVP
4/5 DPOY
12 all nba 1st team
12 1st team all defense
He’ll beat jordan.

Also wemby is playing in a talented era while jordan played in weak/expansion era.
